These things are awesome! I used these for a totally MacGiver’ed - Gerry rig setup. (Don’t judge me haha) Long story short the gate on a large chain link pen I have got totally destroyed. So I build a wood gate/door but I had no idea how I was going to use it. But then I thought hmmm… so I put a t post into the ground and slid these brackets on. I used 3 brackets. They were very easy to slide onto the t-post and fit great. Then I screwed a piece of wood to each bracket that I could attach these hinges to. I used wire to then hold the t-post to the chain link post and give it more stability to hold the wood gate I made. And let me tell you this wood gate I made is heavy and solid. I had serious doubts that these brackets would hold up to the weight of this gate. But I’m here to report these brackets are solid and durable. They’re holding this gate up! Granted this isn’t really the best permanent solution to my problem but part of farm life is MacGiver’ing solutions.I’m definitely glad I ordered these brackets. I wasn’t sure what I’d use them for when I ordered them but I knew I’d find a use.They’re super easy to use and I know I’ll reuse them for something else later. Definitely money well spent!

Decently thick metal.Holes are straight through with no beveling.Fits my t-posts perfectly and hold in place.Have had it sitting on a post with nothing attached for a couple months now and it shows very slight rusting around the pre-drilled holes. Considering that the tposts themselves end up with rust in spots and this metal is fairly thick I think it's an acceptable amount. Probably could touch up the holes with a little spray paint while you're setting them up.

Used to attach corral boards along the top of a T-post and stock panel fence right behind our house to dress it up a little bit and not look so utility.They worked perfectly for that and because of how they sit over the T-post, it actually made the fence more rigid and stable.It also gave me a place to attach some plaques and outdoor ornamentation along the fence.They are very heavy-duty and have been installed now for about 6 months and still look like the day they were installed.Planning on ordering more in the near future.Shipped fast. 5- Stars

The Black T-Post Brackets are a great idea. They just slip into the post and are held in place by the bumps at whatever height you want. I used them to attach 2x4 lumber to stop the fence leaning critters from pushing the wire down. I believe the lumber might help to prevent deer from getting a leg caught in the fence too. They are such a simple design that I think they are great. The metal is probably stronger than needed for most applications but it is strong enough to support walls if used for an animal shelter. The price is fair for the quantity and quality but you can get a better deal if you want a larger number of brackets.

I am a conservationist and try to improve the 40 acres of land I own. One of these projects is to make and deploy bluebird houses, hoping to attract the birds to my property. I maintain about 30 in total. I have been very successful in my endeavors. When I started doing this about 30 years ago, I tried all manner of approaches to attach a bluebird house to a standard 6' T-post. Most of these failed because these houses need constant maintenance and must be easily removed from the T-posts. This is the perfect solution. The house can be lifted off and put back on in less than 30 seconds. Some of these brackets have been in use for 1 or more years now with absolutely no problems. I have no doubt these will provide many years of service. These brackets are made with powder-coated mild steel.
