I got this 5-pack of LED light bars as an easy way to add ambient lighting without installing permanent fixtures. The music-sync mode is fun for parties or a gaming setup, although for everyday use I mostly prefer slower, less distracting effects. I think the packaging and price had my expectations pretty high on these, and I'm not sure they delivered. One of the first turn offs for me is the cord that connects the tubes - maybe unrealistic to expect these to not need to be physically connected, but the rather noticeable wires leave this with a less than clean install look. The lights are pretty cool, with many patterns to choose from, but these aren't cob style lights, and you do notice that these are individual LEDs on a strip inside the tube. Pairing with my phone wasn't as seamless as it is with other things, but we did eventually get it to connect. The music reactivity was OK, but the music had to be up really loud for it to react to the sound well. Overall, I feel like these would be more reasonably priced at about half to two thirds the current price of sixty bucks. The different lighting options are extensive though, and pretty mesmerizing to watch. The app is good, but it does seem that you need to access the power cord to turn off.

Got this to go in our party room and it's a blast. I love that you don't have to have an account or anything special to get it going. There's a pretty decent variety of modes and patterns to put it in and you're sure to find one that works. It's super bright and the kids love it. I do wish it had just a bit more cable length between sections so you could make the entire canvas a bit bigger, and I do wish the mic was just a bit more sensitive... in music modes it'll need to be loud or right next to a speaker.

Easily one of the fastest ways to add a huge visual boost to a background without breaking the bank, or tons of wiring.Bright, vibrant colors make for great displays, and you can easily adjust them with the remote. I tried the app, however I moved back to the remote because I don't want to drag my phone out to make changes.Feels well made, and does not feel like setting them up will make them snap apart.Great option for the price, easy to set up and control with the included remote, making it simple and quick to get started with custom lighting.
