Looks and feels nice. Corners and back edge do not stay adhered. Going to give it a few days before buying rug tape. Some reviews state theirs came with rug tape. Ours unfortunately did not.

Works great. Got it so my dogs don't slip on the steps. Size up on the length, if possible, if your stairs have an extra lip on them. I didn't anticipate this but it's fine for my intended purpose. Will be easy to remove and comes off clean when we get ready to move out of our rental.

We are in the process of a renovation and installed these on our hardwood stairs, and they've been a great addition. They give everyone in the house a little more confidence going up and down the steps, especially the dogs. The textured surface provides good traction without feeling rough, and they're much softer underfoot than walking directly on the wood.The peel-and-stick backing made installation simple, and once they were in place, they stayed put without curling or shifting. I'm not quite sure how well the adherence is, simply because they fit so snugly that they have nowhere to go. I also like the rounded bullnose design because it gives the stairs a more finished, built-in appearance instead of looking like something that was just stuck on as an afterthought.They've held up well to daily foot traffic, vacuum easily, and have made our staircase quieter, safer, and much more comfortable to use. I'm very happy with how they look and perform.

🧰 First impressionsThese feel very high quality. They are thick and structured, almost more like formed carpet pads than flimsy stair covers. They do not bend easily, which is a good thing for stair use because they feel stable and substantial.🔧 InstallationThe adhesive backing seems more floor-friendly than aggressively sticky. I actually like that, especially if you have nicer floors and do not want something that feels like it may damage the surface later.📦 Build qualityThe carpet surface feels cushioned and well made. These have enough structure that they feel like they should stay in place well on clean, smooth stairs.✅ Pros • Thick, cushioned, and structured • Feels much higher quality than thin stair mats • Adhesive seems less likely to damage nicer flooring • Good for pets, kids, and general stair traction • Reasonable value for the quality🙂 Trade-offs • On older, worn, or rough floors, the adhesive may not be strong enough by itself • You may need extra adhesive if your stairs are uneven or beat up • They are more rigid, so they are not the type that easily bends around odd shapes unless cut💡 TipsFor clean, smooth floors, I would probably use them as-is. For rougher or older stairs, I would expect to add stronger adhesive or another mounting method. They also have enough padding and structure that you could cut them for other uses, like corner padding or protective carpet pieces around the house.🧑🔧 My takeThese are nice stair treads. They feel sturdy, cushioned, and well made, and the adhesive seems like a good balance for people who want traction without damaging nicer floors. For the price and the quality, I think they are a good value.
