My mini-split uses a standard screen filter that isn't fine enough to keep dust out of the internal coils. I bought this filter roll as a solution to prevent debris buildup, and it works perfectly.Installation was simple: I used the existing mini-split filter as a template to trace the shape onto this media, then used scissors to cut it about an inch larger. It lays perfectly flat on top of the unit. Despite the material being much thicker than the original screen, it doesn't restrict airflow at all. I expect this to do a great job filtering for about 60 days. I’m very happy with how easy it was to customize and use—definitely a 5-star purchase.
