Actually love this fan. Bought it because it had bluetooth and it was cheap. Opened it up and thought ummmm plastic okay its kinda cheapie, but after installing I LOVE it. Plastic turned out to be better than metal and wood in the fact that its light and blows very hard. noise is very quiet. easy to control with the remote or phone. looks amazing and install was easy

I've installed many ceiling fans, but this one is very unique compared to all the rest. I knew right away this kind of ceiling fan is meant to be outside under a patio, or in a small bedroom like a kids room, garage, storage, closet, shed. The fan is made of plastic, everything except the motor. The motor itself is much smaller than any motor in a ceiling fan I've ever seen. For installation reasons, that makes it so much easier. But how good is this motor and will it last a long time? The whole fan is lightweight, so it doesn't need to have a large motor. The fan is a good size, it produces a LOT of wind, in fact it's just as much as other fans I have installed. So it is very effective. The installation is very easy, and the directions for it are also easy in 5 or so steps with pictures. It did take me about an hour going slow, taking my time. But it's all very simple and straight forward even though different than other fans, you build the fan with the arms before putting up into the ceiling, then hook the lightweight fan while you wire it in, then snap the fan up secure. It screws on very tight, all wires fit inside, very easy. If you ever needed to take it down or move it, that would also be an easy job.A few minor issues. When screwing some screws in, a couple of the holes didn't match. I had to force them in the plastic but it worked fine. The light is super bright, and it does dim, but I wish there was a nightlight option, the lowest dim is still too bright. The white hue color changes is good. The options with the remote all work really well, and there are features that some other fans don't have. Like natural wind, it slows and speeds up. Timer function, quick all off button, and 6 different settings for how fast the fan goes, whisper quiet, or quiet strong. Forward / Reverse works from the remote. It's very quiet on all speeds. So I was really impressed over-all.The phone app looks good, and I'm sure it functions good but I could not get it to work, and it uses Bluetooth which means you have to connect to it. I could not connect, and the instructions for that are very broken like Chinese to English, don't make much sense. Don't need the app when you have a remote. If it were wifi connection then it would be a great feature, but it's not wifi so it's kinda worthless, maybe a kid can figure it out he he. If I really wanted to I would figure it out eventually.Durability of the fan seems very strong and sturdy, no noises when running. But with an all plastic device, how long will that last? This is why I feel the fan is worth it at the deal price around 40.00 to 50.00 max, I do love the advanced features. I will buy another once I can see this one over a couple months time.
