This is a whole kit for installing floating shelves. The only thing missing is the wood shelves themselves, and they included everything needed to make those! There's a jig and router bit and a long drill bit with a jig for using that too! I'm waiting for my brother to make the wood shelves for me, but I couldn't wait to install these. I put the brackets up and have pieces of wood just sitting on top for now. They still look awesome.These are sturdy as hell! And so easy to install!The 8" length is perfect for my kitchen.This kit is well worth the price point.

Wow, I am very impressed with these hidden shelf brackets! They come with a large, nice quality drill bit the exact size you need for the brackets. I ordered these on a whim and didn't even think in advance about drilling those holes in the wooden shelves to hold these brackets. The drill bit is the perfect size, and also is good quality (and is a great addition to my toolbox!). The brackets themselves look great and are very nice quality. Together with the drill bit, installing true floating shelves is no longer a mystery...with a vise and my household drill I was able to drill the blank wooden shelves I picked up at home depot and have them hanging on the wall in just over an hour. They look great on the wall, and I am very impressed with myself :-).Overall, I definitely would recommend these hidden shelf brackets to others, it's actually fun to create your own shelves that look amazing when you're done.
