The clips that came with my Govee lights were TERRIBLE and it was very difficult to attempt to install the lights. Thankfully I found these ones and it made install a breeze. They fit very tightly around the square lights, had cut outs in each side that allowed everything to fit flush while allowing the wires to not be pinched. The brackets for the driver and the on/off controller fit just as well. I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with these and willBe buying a few more sets for my 300’ kit that I need to install next.

I installed this on my house last weekend with the Govee H805A lights I already had. The kit comes with pretty much everything you'd need, the gable clips, individual light clips, brackets for the power adapter and controller, and all the screws. I didn't have to run to the store for anything, which was nice.The installation was straightforward. I used the gable clips on my roof peak where the angle was pretty steep, and the hinges on those clips actually do flex to match the pitch. Screwed them down tight and they felt solid. The smaller clips worked well for attaching individual lights to the eaves and fascia board.Material feels decent. It's plastic but thick enough that it doesn't feel cheap. I was concerned about how it would hold up outside, but after a few weeks in some rain and wind it's still holding everything in place without any flex or movement. The screws grip well into the plastic.One thing to keep in mind is this only fits the H705 and H805 models. I made sure I had the right version before ordering. If you have a different Govee light model, this won't work.The controller and power adapter brackets were helpful too. Instead of letting them sit on the ground or hang loose, I mounted them to the wall under the eaves. Everything looks neat and organized now instead of having cords and boxes visible.If you've got these Govee lights and want a permanent setup instead of using adhesive strips, this kit does the job. All the pieces fit together well and the whole thing took me maybe 45 minutes to install.

I got the mounting clips kit and went right to work on getting my permanent outdoor lights put up along the side of the house. The box had the gable light clips and all the other brackets along with the screws so I had everything I needed in one place without having to make another trip anywhere. I lined up the gable clips on the roof edge and drove the screws in to hold them tight against the surface before moving on to the rest of the job.After that I attached the lights to the clips and then turned to the controller and power adapter mount set. I found good spots on the wall for those brackets and screwed them in place too. The whole process felt organized because every piece was right there when I needed it and I could keep going without stopping. The lights now sit even and do not move when I give them a little tug test from the ladder.It feels satisfying to have the whole thing done and know it is secure up there. The plastic on the clips and brackets has a sturdy feel and I think it will keep the lights in place for a long time out in the elements. From down on the ground the lights look straight and tidy now that they are all clipped in and mounted with the brackets. Having everything included also meant I could spend more time making sure the placement was just right instead of worrying about missing parts.

The gable light clips have a folding hinge that let me set the angle to match the changing pitch along my roofline right from the start. I placed each one where the surface shifted and adjusted the hinge until it sat flat before putting in the screws to lock them down. Once the screws were tight the clips stayed exactly where I positioned them and I moved along the edge clipping the lights into place so they followed the roof shape without sagging.I used the rest of the mounting clips from the kit to fill the spaces between the gable ones and they held the lights in a clean line all the way across. The controller and power adapter mount set went up on the wall lower down and kept those parts off the ground and in reach once I finished the roof section. Stepping back after finishing I could see how the lights now follow the roof without drooping even where the angle changed.The screw secured design gave me confidence that it would hold over time and the setup feels more stable than I expected. I placed the brackets for the controller box and power adapter after the roof part was done and the screws went in easy on the wall surface. The plastic parts feel thick and the whole setup looks even when I look at it from the yard. It was helpful to have the full set so I could move from the roof clips straight to the wall mounts without stopping.
