I always have done my plumbing repairs and when one toilet started ghost flushing I needed a replacement. The valve actually works well. So why the 3 stars? I’m an experienced homeowner who has been doing home repairs for over 40 years. If this is the first time you work on a toilet you may have a hard time because the instructions are not very good. My toilet is actually a one piece toilet purchased from Costco about 18 years ago and it fits. The nylon nuts I don’t need and if I did need them I would trade them out for metal ones to make sure that the gasket seals. The main flush valve sealed properly without any leaks/ ghost flushing.Measure all of the dimensions before purchasing because the top button flush can come in different sizes. This is much easier to measure than the 2 or 3 inch valve at the bottom of the tank.
