I purchased this set of two linen lamp shades to replace the shades on a couple of lamps, and they gave the room a fresh, more polished appearance. I’ve been looking for new lampshades for a while. The ones in the store were too overly decorated, too small and too overpriced for just one lampshade. These were extremely simple to put together and reasonably affordable for two lampshades. I have never had lampshade to put together before. Very easy illustrated instructions on the back of the box were provided. You just take the round wired pieces and clip them in to the top and bottom of the lampshade. Velcro the shade together and you’re all done. I love the color of the shade. It is also textured on the exterior. This was packed perfectly and came with everything you need to put it together. Nice quality and very affordable.

OK, I’m in love with this linen shade!! Yes, it’s like a build a bear. You have to put it together, but the directions were very straightforward. The only thing you have to make sure of is, when you’re putting that first ring on, which is on top and faces the ceiling, make sure the bars are bending into the shade, otherwise, you’re going to see them sticking out from on top of the shade other than that very easy!! When I was doing the first shade, I made that mistake, but it was very easy to redo. The shade is a little more forgiving than I gave it credit for.Anyway, it’s a beautiful linen shade and it made my two old lamps look fresh and new and the look I was going for!! I’m really excited. It saved me from having to go buy a new lamp.Everything came very well packaged, and everything was separated, so nothing would scratch. Now I have to tell you I had to kind of piece this together a little bit based on the type of lamp that I have. The only thing I had to make the adjustments on based on where the lightbulb is, is that I was able to use the new harp that came with this kit, but I wasn’t able to use the piece that slips over where the harp slide slides into. I was still able to use my old one. There wasn’t anything to secure this other piece too to my lamp. It was sitting loose, so I have a little bit of a chrome hardware and a little bit of my bronze, but you can’t see it. I also kept my old finial instead of the new one. The new one was OK, but the for my old lamp matches the bottom part so it goes together beautifully as you will see in the pictures. The other one is chrome and we look better on another type of lamp. My lamp is bronze.This lampshade you basically roll onto these round corsets I guess lack of a better word. And it connects with snaps that is on the shade itself. The shade at the base is 12.6” and at the top it’s 11.6” with the height to be in 7.8”. This fit my current lamp because I measured my old shade and it equated.The empire shade has a beautiful linen color and with my lightbulb, It produces a soft warm light. It’s beautiful. I have a French country/cottage but more modern and this is a nice transitional piece. So you get the shade, the harp, the finial, and the part the harp fits into. Perfect for any room.There are other types of shades that you can choose from in the price point is excellent and you get two. My guess is the price point might be a little lower because you have to actually build it but I’ve gone to stores where I’ve seen these prices a lot higher.My lamps now look put together, elegant and classic. My room really needed to be elevated and it’s amazing what lampshades can do. It’s the little things.If you’re hesitating, don’t you won’t regret it. Measure first, though to make sure this will fit your lamp.

The classic empire design looks elegant, the linen material gives off a warm and inviting glow, and they fit perfectly on my table lamps. Once assembled, they really elevated the look of my living room.The shades themselves appear well-made and have a clean, timeless style that works with both traditional and modern décor. Assembly was straightforward, and the spider fitter attachment made installation quick and easy.Unfortunately, my experience was negatively impacted by the packaging. The shades arrived with some noticeable dings and dents in the plastic backing/support material. While the damage wasn't severe enough to make the shades unusable, the marks are visible when viewed up close and detract from the overall appearance.I don't believe the issue is with the product itself, but rather with how it was packaged and protected during shipping. Better packaging could have easily prevented this damage and resulted in a much better first impression.Because of the condition in which they arrived, I had to reduce my rating. It's disappointing because the lamp shades themselves are attractive and would have easily earned a higher score if they had arrived in perfect condition.Overall, these are stylish and attractive lamp shades that look great once installed, but the inadequate packaging led to visible damage that shouldn't have happened. With improved shipping protection, this would be a much stronger product.

I ordered these Empire Linen Lamp Shades Set of 2, 11"x12.6"x9.8" from PYKZLU to fix up a floor lamp that been in slow decline for about 45 years. I was waiting for a fairly large box to arrive that can fit 2 full size lamp shade. I was surprised to see them arrive in a relatively small box. But, the shades are a snap to put together (literally).They come with harps and finials. Unfortunately, they can not be installed in my odd old floor lamp. That lamp has an upside down bulb base with the shade hanging down from it (no harp). This pair of shades are designed for lamps with right side up bulb bases.I have a different lamp where I don't want a new shade because it doesn't fit in my man cave theme. But I put this shade on it for your entertainment. It fits perfectly, but doesn't look good in of the dried blood red textured wall paper (See attached).These shades don't work for me because of my error ordering the wrong type. But they are good quality and I'll give them 5 stars because they should work great for you.
