The lamp is well made and easy to put together. I think it had instructions but I didn't even read them because it is very straight forward. The lamp pole is fairly heavy and durable and gives it a nice weight. I was very surprised by how heavy the package was when I received it.It does take come assumbly but the only hard part is getting the lamp shade put together. I have worked with other similar lampshades so I know how to put them together but it is always a pain to get the shade taut while attached to the two rings; plus you need to make sure you get the rings in the correct order and orientation which is just annoying. You could always just throw it away and buy a nicer looking one at a store too. The lamp is a bit shorter than the light I replaced it with but it seems to be a good height. I am 5'11" and it works good for anyone 6' or shorter. I did wear some 3" heels and I was able to see the light bulb which is annoying so keep that in mind if you are very tall. Overall I love the light itself.The light bulb it comes with is a warm color and I prefer cool LED so I didn't use it. It also claims it is dimmable but the lamp only has on-off settings and won't change LED light intensity.

AIEAMPDO 63'' Boho Floor Lamp with Resin Faux Bamboo BodyI ordered this lamp for a second house I bought some 300 miles away near our children. It took me a while to get over there and put it together but once there, the assembly was straightforward and simple. I've included a lot of pictures that show how it comes out of the box and goes together. The only thing at all tedius was keeping the cord from twisting as one assembles the three segments of the lamp pole, then the final screwing on of the pole to the base. The instructions were adequate and everything went together as advertised in about 15 minutes.The lamp was well-packaged and the only issue was damage to the veneer near the top of the finial (see pictures). Since this is a floor lamp and the shade extends an inch or so above the top of the harp, the damage isn't readily visible. As it doesn't impair the functionality of the finial, I let it go. Since there was no veneer in the packing material, I assume the damage was done before packaging so I cut a star on my rating for quality control.The base on this lamp is quite heavy and won't easily tip over. The lamp is turned on and off with a switch located in the socket assembly so it can be turned on, plugged into a wifi or bluetooth switch in a wall outlet and controlled via voice command if one so desires. I use Amazon's Alexa App and an Alexa-compatible plug-in switch and it controls the lamp with no issues.Overall I am quite pleased with the lamp's appearance and solid construction. The artificial bamboo looks realistic and the segments go together well and smoothly. It does not look or feel cheap and the price is quite reasonable for what one gets. I recommend it.

The construction seems solid enough for normal use, and it looks good in a living room, bedroom, or corner space where you want a little extra warmth and style.Pricing also feels pretty reasonable here. It isn't a bargain product, but it doesn't feel overpriced either. Overall, this is a good-looking lamp with respectable build quality that delivers about what you'd expect for the money.
