Solid 14 AWG Cable That Holds Its Shape WellSolid 14 AWG Cable That Holds Its Shape Well

[Size: 20FT, Style: 14AWG/3, Size: 20FT, Style: 14AWG/3]
I used this 14/3 NM-B cable for part of a low-voltage DC distribution setup where I wanted solid conductors that would hold their shape instead of sagging. It worked well for that. The cable is noticeably easier to route than heavier 12 AWG NM-B, while still being stiff enough to stay where it is bent. The outer jacket is marked 14 AWG, and I measured the solid copper conductors at about 1.63 mm diameter, which is consistent with 14 AWG.The main drawback is the outer sheath. It is still more tightly formed around the conductors than conventional NM-B cable I am used to, so stripping takes a little more effort. I had better luck lightly scoring the jacket with a razor, snipping enough of it to get a handhold, and then peeling it back. That worked considerably better than trying to simply pull the sheath off.Once stripped, the individual conductors were easy to work with, and the solid wire held its routed shape nicely.Overall, this is good 14/3 solid copper cable. The sheath is a little more tedious than traditional NM-B, but the cable itself is well made and performed exactly as I needed it to.

Nice Flat 14/3 Cable

[Size: 20FT, Style: 14AWG/3]
Review for: 14/3 Wire with Ground - 20FT 14 Gauge NM-B Non-Metallic Sheathed Cable Pure Copper 14 AWG 3 Conductor Residential Indoor Wire for Outlets, Switches, Other Loads and Lighting Wiring Projects.(Blue) (20FT, 14AWG/3)This appears to be a decent, though very short, piece of 14/3 cable. Nothing special, but does appear to be good quality. Very flat, all 4 wires are set parallel in the cable, that may help slipping it into a retrofit project. Minimal packaging, this is a plus for me.If my opinion of this cable changes, I will change my review.

Me: "Honey, I'm home. I've got a surprise for you!"Wife: "I love surprises. What's in the bag?"Me: "A beautiful 20-foot piece of wire!"Wife: "Say, WHAT?! More wires?!"I sense exasperation, so this is when I launch into my defense of wires, cables, and connectors (oh, my!). My wife says I have too many. I say I don't have enough and explain how wires, cables, lines, etc. literally support and connect civilization. I admit I'm going a bit into the weeds, but...Anyway, you understand that I possess a keen appreciation for these magical conductors and connectors. Which brings me to the 20 feet of MOOKEERF 14/3 Wire with Ground that I've acquired. This is a primo product, featuring 14-gauge NM-B non-metallic sheathed pure copper! It is configured with 3 14AWG current-carrying wires and 1 ground wire (600V Rated). This is good for any of my/your residential indoor projects, like setting up outlets, switches, lights, etc. The price point is a good value.I appreciate that MOOKEERF has ensured better safety with dual-layer insulation protection, which doesn't affect the flexibility and ease of use. The inner PVC provides essential electrical isolation. The outer tough nylon jacket offers 'superior mechanical protection, abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance.' It's also designed for dry or damp locations, but not for direct burial or extended exposure in an outdoors setting. It is designed for use in 120/240V home power scenarios.Quality materials, flexible, and very easy to use. Good stuff!

Quality wire that is easy to work with

[Size: 20FT, Style: 14AWG/3]
I used this wire for a residential electrical project and was pleased with the overall quality. The cable was flexible enough to route through tight spaces while still feeling durable and well protected. The conductors were easy to identify and strip, which helped make installation go smoothly. For smaller wiring projects around the home, it offers excellent value for money.

[Size: 20FT, Style: 14AWG/3, Size: 20FT, Style: 14AWG/3]
This is pretty standard NM-B, Romex-type residential wiring. I used it for a small project and found that it behaved just like the other 14/3 cable I've worked with. The outer sheath stripped cleanly although it was a little tough, and the individual conductors stripped normally without any surprises. The copper conductors appear to be properly sized, and the cable was easy to work with during installation. The ground wire has a paper jacket. There's not much more to say about basic electrical cable, which is probably a good thing. It does what it is supposed to do and doesn't introduce any unusual quirks or problems. At the price, it seems like a decent value.✅ standard 14/3 NM-B construction✅ sheath strips cleanly✅ conductors strip normally✅ easy to work with✅ decent value**BOTTOM LINE:** Standard residential NM-B cable that worked exactly as expected. No complaints, and I would recommend it.

A good budget friendly short run wires for small projects. Even the color is code compliant!A goo...

[Size: 20FT, Style: 14AWG/3, Size: 20FT, Style: 14AWG/3]
This non-metallic sheathed cable is used for indoor residential and light commercial wiring. AKA "Romex" although that is just a brand name.If you're a professional electrician, you probably buy your wire in spools of hundreds or thousands of feet. But, if you are a DIYer like me, these lengths don't make sense, and the hardware stores charge an arm and a leg for cuts of larger spools. This wire comes pre-cut in convenient lengths from 10ft to 100ft, so you can buy exactly what you need. Moreover, even for comparable lengths, it is significantly cheaper than my local hardware store, and copper is not cheap so the difference is substantial. This wire is pure copper, which is the best option. I wouldn't recommend the cheaper alternatives of copper-clad aluminum (CCA) unless you know exactly what you're doing and make sure it never meets any moisture.Overall, it's an excellent cable at a very good price which makes it an exceptional value for money. It earns my warm recommendation, and a well-deserved 5 star rating.

Well made standard 14/3 Non-Metallic Building Cable. New blue color.

[Size: 20FT, Style: 14AWG/3]
This wire is encased in a blue outer sheath which was a color introduced in 2024 to identify 14/3 wire and give visual distinction between cables carrying 2 conductors and those with 3 conductors (blue). This wire appears to be made to standard specifications. Inside the outer sheath are two hot wires, a black and a red, one neutral white wire and a bare ground wire. This wire can used for three way switches to turn off or on lights from either end of a room, hallway, or staircase. It can also be used to wire split receptacles where one side of the receptacle is always hot and the other side is switchable.I found it easy to work with and the same as other brands of wire I've used in the past. The 20 foot length was enough for a small project in my shed.

Solid Wire for DIY Home Projects

[Size: 20FT, Style: 14AWG/3]
I used this 14/3 NM-B cable to run a new circuit for my garage outlets and it performed exactly as expected. The pure copper conductors are easy to strip and the nylon jacket held up well when pulling through studs without tearing or snagging. I liked that the ground wire comes wrapped in kraft paper, just like the name brand stuff from the big box stores. It handled staples fine and stayed flexible enough to work with in tight corners. Rated for 600V and up to 90℃, so I felt safe running it near the attic. Good quality at a fair price. Would buy again for future wiring jobs.
