These cut cleanly and came in a plastic box and also have a tip protector sleeve. They worked great for freeing 3D printed parts or injection molded parts from the framework. Spring open is also a nice feature when using them.

These flush cutters are well made and they cut through zip ties and small wires easily. I have been primarily using these pliers to cut off the excess ends of my plastic zip ties and they work great, they cut through zip ties like butter and leave no sharp edges to snag your fingers on. The pliers are spring loaded and the handles are coated and easy to grip/hold onto which makes one handed operation possible and easy. I am impressed with the quality and versatility of these flush cutters. These work great for their intended purpose and they are very fairly priced. I have given these a permanent spot in my zip tie box so that I always have a set of flush cutters for my zip ties ready and available when I need them. Five stars!

These are really nice flush cutters. You can tell pretty quickly that they’re a step up from the dime-a-dozen cutters that seem to multiply in every junk drawer. The action is smooth, the spring rebound feels great, and they have that solid, confidence-inspiring feel that usually tells you right away whether a tool is going to be pleasant to use or frustrating.The big selling point for me is that these are true flush cutters, not the common diagonal style that leaves a more pointed cut. These look and feel like quality pliers. Haven't forgotten the list price, my overall impression was 4+ stars, and that's what I would have rated them, except at under $7 the price makes the value too good to downrate for the minor imperfection.The cutters come in a hard plastic case that is re-usable. So I could through them in the glove box or tool case without concern for them getting tangled or damaged, or damaging anything else. Likewise in a solder kit or electronics repair bag.There is also a protective plastic cap for the cutters. It holds them in a way that slightly compresses the handle spring so it stay son well. I'm going to lose this in short order, since I usually have my mind on several things when doing assembly or repair. So its good there is also a case for whe this is lost. But its nice that its included and if nothing else it helped them arrive in good condition and kept the case undamaged.The cutting edges are sharp and have a good uniform grind. I'd prefer it come a little closer to the pivot root so I can cut all the way to the bas without leaving a remnant, but these are pretty good in that regard an the ground edge ends in about the same spot for both blades. The blades are also perfectly aligned along their edge. The joint is tight and they feel good in the hand with good spring back.The one issue is that there is some imperfection in the edge at the tip. For highest quality cutters I should see that, but for $7 its hardly worth noting.I the edges are sharp enough to cut through printer paper leaving a clean edge with a snap. So that blemish at the tip isn't affecting the cutting ability.A nice touch is the labeling inside the handle of the max wire diameter for Copper and Ferrous wire. These are for small diameter wire.

I measured it with calipers after having to pry a coin cell battery out of one of those blister packs (did I mention getting batteries out of those packs is another great use for coin cells?). The handle feels a little narrow compared to other pairs I've used. Same for the jaw opening — it's on the slimmer side. It hasn't caused me any actual problems, but it's worth knowing if you prefer a bigger mouth.As for the metal, they call it chrome vanadium, but from what I can tell, 420J2 is really more of a stainless steel. So you get less hardness than you might expect, but you also get rust resistance. That means they're fine for workshop stuff or moisture-prone areas, but maybe don't go using them on heavy-duty wrenches or sockets. They hold an edge alright, even if they aren't razor-sharp forever like the high-end steels. You can sharpen them up when they do dull, which is part of the point.Overall, they're comfortable in my hand. The price is right. They do exactly what I need them to do around the shop without any fuss. Just a good, reliable tool for the bench.
