The cable is acceptable for basic use. The conductors appear to be copper and the cable is marked as NM-B with a 600 V rating. This meets standard requirements for residential branch circuits.The overall build quality is lower than major US brands such as Southwire. The jacket and finish feel less robust. For critical or long-term installations, higher-grade cable may be preferred.The cable is suitable for my use case; a simple generator input to a transfer switch. It should perform correctly within its rated limits.

This non-metallic sheathed cable is used for indoor residential and light commercial wiring. AKA "Romex" although that is just a brand name.If you're a professional electrician, you probably buy your wire in spools of hundreds or thousands of feet.But, if you are a DIYer like me, these lengths don't make sense, and the hardware stores charge an arm and a leg for cuts of larger spools.This wire comes pre-cut in convenient lengths from 10ft to 100ft, so you can buy exactly what you need.Moreover, even for comparable lengths, it is significantly cheaper than my local hardware store, and copper is not cheap so the difference is substantial.This wire is pure copper, which is the best option. I wouldn't recommend the cheaper alternatives of copper-clad aluminum (CCA) unless you know exactly what you're doing and make sure it never meets any moisture.The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that for some reason, they chose a color that doesn't comply with the current code, which states that a 10/3 wire should be pink and not orange. The latter is reserved for 10/2 wires.Functionally, it doesn't make any difference, and maybe that's why they sell it cheaper. But, if you need your project to pass inspection, the color may be an issue, depending on how strict your county is.Other than that, it's an excellent cable at a very good price which makes it an exceptional value for money.It earns my warm recommendation, and a solid 4 (and a half) star rating.

I decided to upgrade several electrical lines leading to my workshop. Heretofore they were 12 gauge, but I wanted to consolidate into one wire and then branch once at the workshop - 10 AWG was the way to go! This wire worked perfectly for that project. The jacket easily came off, the wire was flexible, and the solid core made using wire nuts a breeze. I highly recommend this wire.

Needed wire for Dryer hook up. The wire is marked at 10 awg with ground (3 wires plus ground), which is sufficient for dryer hookup. But the wire lacks any listing certifications so would not pass inspection here in California. Wire is OK, but if you need inspection, this wire will not work for you.

Looks like good cable. Didn't roll it out to measure length, but ~9" diameter times eight coils seems in the ballpark of advertised quantity. Definitely thicker gauge than the 12 and 14 scraps I have lying around. Conductors do appear to be solid copper.
