I got these blades primarily for cutting/grinding/soothing concrete. Prior to that I had been using the Big Box composite blades made for concrete /masonry cutting. The Coretool blades were a huge improvement. They made fast work of grinding and smoothing concrete. There was no discernable heat (on the blade) when I finished the project and very little wear. Although I prefer to cut glass with a carbide cutter, I will definitely use these diamond impregnated blades for my next glass project. The blades are sized to fit any 4 1/2-inch grinder with a 7/8-inch arbor. Spacers are included for 5/8 and 3/4 arbors. They were a perfect fit for my DeWalt DW40 angle grinder. Measuring 4 1/2-inches in diameter, and 1/16-inch thick, they have a1-1/4- inch cutting diameter. 24 diamond shape holes in the blade dissipate heat. I am pleased with the performance of the Coretool blades and expect to get a lot of use out of them.

Bought these to cut out outlet hole in a mirror to install. I have to admit I never thought I’d be able to cut glass or a mirror with a grinder, but these worked exactly as advertised.
