My doors are the absolute worst. Everything seems to be weirdly misaligned or somehow 2 in too short for the doorways. I have no idea how that happened, but I'm glad this exists to help me combat the drafts.I hadn't heard the term "kerf" before. In the past, I have used draft blockers with adhesive on the side that you stick on the side of the door. They work pretty well for a while, and then that adhesive slowly starts to pull off and it falls off. This works better because they have these ridges on top that when you stick it onto the bottom of your door, it fastens in. Just I guess it wouldn't work if you had a solid door, but if you had a solid door, you probably have quality doors that were properly measured and fitted when they were installed. One bonus perk, in addition to good draft protection, is this blocks the bottom of the door so my cat can't stick his paw under and yank the door open!

Perfect fit to both of our outside doors. was easy to install.

The kerf on this is rigid, which is good, and itโs straight so when you router into the bottom of your door, this does go in pretty well. The problem is this isnโt very high and if you have an angled floor or an angled door, this really isnโt going to do very much. Also the fins on the bottom are completely and totally misshapen and it just doesnโt work for what I need. If you have really shallow space between the bottom of your door and floor, this could work very well for you.The sizing was decent and it doesnโt really have an adhesion factor because the kerf hold into the door, for me this just didnโt do what I needed to do so I took it off

I ordered this thinking it would be a great replacement for my doors. It is, or at least it would have been. I didn't know the doors didn't have a kerf built in, and the previous door seal was a universal application. With that being said this is well made and well packaged. The 2pack cost is cheaper for a single door seal sold at some places. The material is firm and flexible. Learn from my experience before ordering, check the bottom of your door or your remove your previous door seal and check.

This comes as two long pieces and is shipped flat instead of rolled which is great because there isn't any warped pieces. We were able to trim them to the correct size using sharp scissors. My husband installed each piece in just under ten minutes. They start off being incredibly tight, requiring us to use some oomph to open the door. This is a good thing, though! After 12 hours, though, they have adjusted and smoothed themselves down enough that we can open the door naturally again. These are going to be awesome at cutting down on some of the drafts, especially in the winter.

This Bottom door seal installed easily with some minor cutting for proper length. It was a direct replacement for the seal on my door.

I bought this 2-pack of kerf-in door bottom seals to replace the worn-out seal on my exterior door, and the installation couldn't have been much easier. I simply pulled the old seal out of the kerf channel and slid the new one into place. No special tools or modifications were needed. The fit was good, and the multi-fin design creates a much better seal against drafts than my old weather stripping. It noticeably helps keep out air, dust, and moisture, and the quality of the material feels durable enough to last.Having two seals in the package is a nice bonus, whether you have another door to replace or want to keep a spare on hand.Overall, this is an easy and effective upgrade for anyone with a worn door bottom seal. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a quick replacement that installs in just a few minutes.
