These lights are super bright and simple to install. They provide a very clean look, and fill the room with bright white light. They have performed very well over the last several weeks.

A huge upgrade for a garage or workshop

[Size: 5 HEX]
These hexagon garage lights are such a cool way to completely change the appearance of a garage, workshop, or other large space. The hexagon design gives the ceiling a much more finished and modern appearance than a basic overhead light. What I really like is that these aren’t just functional lighting…they also become part of the decor. The geometric pattern creates a really impressive visual effect, especially in a garage where you want something more interesting than standard fluorescent style fixtures. They would be especially great for a workshop, automotive area, gaming space, home gym, or man cave where good lighting is important. Having more evenly distributed light can also make it much easier to see what you’re working on.The modern appearance is definitely one of the biggest selling points. It gives a garage that customized, professional-looking appearance without having to do a major renovation.Overall, these are an excellent choice if you want better lighting while also making your garage look dramatically more finished and modern. Super easy installation. Adjustability is also really simple. These just are a great value for the money. They are cool for several different purposes! I just thought of this as I’m writing it they would be a kinda cool YT background! Like all Black with just the lights super cool vibe depending on your style and genre. Just really happy with how simple everything is.

Possibly brighter than the sun, but you might need an extension cord!

[Size: 5 HEX]
I am always trying to harness the power of the sun to light up my spaces, and this 5-grid hexagon light absolutely delivers! Promising 21,000 lumens, this thing is crazy, ridiculously bright. It completely transforms a dark, dingy garage into what feels like a high-end professional showroom. The interlocking honeycomb design looks amazing and modern once it is all pieced together. However, there is one major frustrating flaw: the included power cord is unreasonably short. Unless you have a ceiling outlet situated exactly where you plan to mount the grid, you are absolutely going to need to rig up an extension cord or plan to hardwire it. Aside from that annoying logistical detail, the actual light output is phenomenal.

This review is for SEURON's Hexagon Garage Lights (5 Grids) for $59.99.I have mostly wonderful things to say about these! My only one small criticism is that if you choose to use the plug-in method (which I absolutely love that they have in addition to the hardwiring option) is that the cord is very short and does not have an on / off switch so if you go that route, the power will have to be controlled by physically plugging/unplugging or if you have it on an extension cord that has an on/off switch by using that as the main power control. That aside - I absolutely love these. They are extremely lightweight and there are enough connectors to make the 5 hex shapes as shown but you could also do wavy S- shapes or... really what every your imagination can create. And very versatile if you decide down the road that you want them to be in a different layout - VERY easy to disconnect and reassemble. It gives off quite a bit of light (the picture I included in the (messy) workshop was with the room completely dark and JUST ONE Hexagon lights it up quite nicely - all 5 are going to be awesome.I tend to get a lot of these types of LED workshop lights because I have a habit of never turning mine off and they die a little sooner than what they're rated for - and I can tell you that 100% of the time, I'd rather deal with these lightweight easy-to-hang lights than the 4' - 6' long lights that you have to measure and balance and hope you don't topple over while trying to scratch your nose and rub your head at the same time. And the price is very comparable to those lights which I also like.Overall - very happy with these. Will definitely be buying more.

MY GARAGE NOW LOOKS LIKE A FUTURISTIC, UPSCALE SHOWROOM - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

[Size: 5 HEX]
I ordered this lighting system for my garage, and the transformation was honestly dramatic. The best way I can describe it is that my garage now feels more like a futuristic, upscale showroom than a typical place to park a car or work on projects. The honeycomb design gives the ceiling a modern, high-end appearance that's impressive both during the day and at night. It's the kind of lighting you'd expect to see in a professional detailing shop or luxury automotive display.Just as importantly, the lighting performance is outstanding. It produces a huge amount of bright, even illumination without creating harsh shadows, making it much easier to work on projects, organize the garage, or simply appreciate how clean everything looks. The light is crisp without feeling unpleasant or overly harsh on the eyes.I also like that the modular design allows you to customize the layout. The components fit together easily, giving you flexibility if your space or preferences change.Once installed, the overall effect is simply stunning. It completely changed the feel of my garage and made it a space I genuinely enjoy spending time in.PROS* Completely transformed the appearance of my garage* Creates a premium, futuristic showroom-like atmosphere* Extremely bright, even illumination* Minimal shadows* Modern honeycomb design looks fantastic* Clean, professional appearance* Great for garages, workshops, and hobby spaces* Customizable modular layout* Easy-to-expand design* Makes working in the garage much more enjoyableIMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS* The brightness is substantial, making it ideal for workspaces and detailing* Planning your layout before installation will help achieve the best visual result* The geometric design becomes a major design feature rather than just a light fixtureOVERALL IMPRESSIONThis is one of the most dramatic upgrades I've ever made to my garage. The difference is immediate the moment you turn the lights on. Instead of feeling like a typical garage, the space now has the appearance of a high-end, futuristic showroom or professional automotive studio. If you're looking for lighting that not only dramatically improves visibility but also completely transforms the look of your garage, workshop, or hobby space, I highly recommend this system. I'm extremely pleased with how it turned out.

I requested this because our garage lighting really sucks. We needed something to help see all of our project areas. We've got our workbench and tools, a gardening set up, and a refinishing corner. This brings illumination to all those and the rest of the area. This came in and all the parts except one cord was missing; regardless, the assembly took about 25-30 min with removing the individual bar protective plastics. The listing says one person can install (true); but, I would say 2 due to the unwieldy nature and shape is just helpful and safer. I did get it installed, but had to use a rope pulley slipknot on one side to keep it elevated, while the other side was being mounted. Putting it up took took another 20 minutes, let me make this clear: WORTH IT! These lights are so bright, clean, and reach every corner and shelf. They are a quality that is worth the cost in my opinion. I can now work after sunset and close the garage door to prevent mosquitoes from getting in; and, my work areas are still illuminated like it is high noon. This product matches the listing and photos so it did not disappoint with the claims made. It is like having a fricken super nova overhead. The instructions were intuitive and reliable to reach the shape wished. They do give multiple illustrated options, that let you see the connectors to distinguish which you need for each pattern. That was extraordinarily helpful. Having a higher joists, gables, and pitch for the garage meant we had to use an extension cord and outlet with a ground plug. Very wise choice for something you never want to go out or fry.I am so impressed, I almost want to invite my dude friends over so they can marvel at this creation. I'd highly recommend this kit if you have low or crappy light and only have time to work on things after the natural light disappears. One switch will bring it back for you.

How is this so good? How is this so good?

[Size: 5 HEX, Size: 5 HEX]
Up front, I want to mention that I am writing this review pre-installation. It will probably take me forever to actually install these but I've been testing them out and admiring what a perfect masterclass these are in "so simple it works". Forget Nanoleaf, Govee, or whoever you want fancy lights from; so long as you only want white (and a fairly cool white at that; 5000K seems accurate). These feel like the natural evolution of all of the various 3D printed hexagon light projects out there. If you look into what this kit is and how it's built, you'll realize that this is one of those design ideas that's so simple you're almost offended you didn't think of it first.First a general overview of what you get and how it all works. In this 5-hexagon pack, I received 25 light bars, 11 V connectors, 9 Y connectors, assorted mounting hardware (clips + screws + drywall anchors), a hard-wire power cable, and a standard outlet cable with a NEMA 5-15P connector (standard 3-prong US wall outlet). The kit indicates it should only contain 24 lights, so I'm not sure if this was included as a spare or just mistakenly added to mine. Either way, the kit builds with 24 lights and there's no way (without additional connectors) to utilize the 25th light so I'm going to consider it a spare and give them the benefit of the doubt. These connect together using Y and V connectors between segments, using a connector design similar to (albeit decidedly NOT) a C7/figure-8 style plug. Each light has contacts at each end that pass the 120V AC straight through, with each one internally rectifying the 120V down to whatever DC voltage powers a 1-layer PCB full of SMD LEDs (basically LED tape's older, more thicc cousin 🤣). All of this is packed into a single-piece plastic extrusion with a transparent diffuser, opaque cable run, and a baffle in the middle that holds the LED PCB and provides rigidity. The tiny rectifier board and 120V passthru wiring run through the baffle, and the diffuser does as the name implies and turns the 36 individual LEDs inside into one contiguous bar of light - there was next to no brightness variation across the length of it.To evaluate the brightness, thermal performance, and appearance, I assembled a test hexagon - just a single one, and let it run for about an hour. The brightness is definitely not going to meet the claimed 21000LM, I'd expect it to hit maybe half of that. But to put into perspective how much light that would actually be, it would be slightly more than 13 100 watt incandescent lightbulbs. 1313 watts of incandescent light, to be specific, given industry standard luminous flux. I'd guess this is closer to 2/3 of that in the full 5-panel set up. With six panels, it was about half as bright (by sight, not measured) as a light that I know to be 5600 lumens; that would imply a total around 12200 lumens. Despite all the math, I was quite pleased by the amount of light it put out, and more than anything the effect it had on absolutely deleting any shadows whatsoever. It's not ultimately surprising; this is the same thing that makes ring lights such a no-brainer for video lighting - put light all around the thing you want and you don't have to worry about shadows/dark areas. Honestly, a single hexagon would make an amazing setup for product photography, but I don't know that I trust the CRI to be high enough (also not tested - looks fine to the eye, but definitely not "high CRI"). Additionally, after the 15 minute runtime, the lights were only barely warm to the touch on the external housing, and they weren't any warmer near the rectifier boards; I would expect these to have no real thermal issues unless you have a loose connector... which with this design would be really hard to do without noticing.Next, I want to talk about how much these things weigh. Or more, how much they *don't*. I swear, if they made these any lighter, you wouldn't even need to install them - they'd be light enough to negate gravity and pin themselves to the ceiling at that point. Seriously, they're so light. They feel somewhat flimsy, but not in a structurally-unstable way. I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that mentally you expect the housing to be partially metal and it's all just very thin plastic. To the extent that these feel "cheaply made" it's because they're so dirt simple that any more "premium" version would just be wasteful. It does everything it needs to do while looking good doing it and being lighter than it has any right to. Given the design that keeps the LED tape suspended in the middle of each bar, I would expect these could be hung with command strips if you wanted to. You can also mount it with the included clips and screws, or potentially even using the screw holes on the intermediate connectors (although I would be wary there, since they are plastic and those eye-hole protrusions are probably easy to break if you screw down too tightly. At $59.99 at the time of writing,...
