Removability is this tape's best feature.

[Color: Green, Size: 1inch*60yard]
Somewhat disappointing performance, but a lot of tape for the money. The description says, "strong adhesion while ensuring no sticky residue."It's true there's no sticky residue. Yes, it's easy to apply and easily removed. But "strong adhesion" is not true, at least on the surfaces I've tried it on.I've found that it begins to lift at the ends after a day or two, max. Because of this, I wouldn't trust it for paint without testing it first. If it's lifting and curling up at the (short) ends, it's likely to be lifting in the middle but not noticeable over the length, and therefore might let paint seep under. There's a lot of tape in this package, for the price, so if you don't need to rely on its strength it might be a good buy. Luckily the reason I wanted it, is actually a low-strength situation that I didn't want to waste expensive branded masking tape on.I would have been happier with better performance--tape should stay taped!! --but an easily-spotted, bright green tape, that does a sort-of good job is going to work for me.

Fantastic !

[Color: Yellow, Size: 0.7inch*60yard]
The material is thin, easy to apple and remove. I use it on edges where I need to paint, and it effectively prevents paint from bleeding, it's very practical. My child also loves using it for watercolor painting. It's fantastic! Next time I need buy different size.

Nice for when you need a brief, non damaging hold

[Color: Green, Size: 1.88inch*60yard]
I am using this tape, TapeZilla green masking tape for crafting. I would describe the adhesive as being quite light. It is only slightly stronger than a 3M post it. That means that you can mask off areas without concerns about damage to the underlying surface, as that is highly unlikely. On the other hand, if you were wanting to mask off an area for a longer period of time than this might not hold. It seems best used for situations where you can apply it, do what you need to do, and remove it right away. It is working fine as the masking to laser engrave. However, because it doesn’t stick very long, this is for situations where you’re making a small piece, and therefore able to just stick on the bit of masking, do your laser engraving, and be done with it quickly. Under the circumstances, I am not having difficulty with residue, and I am not having any trouble with color transfer, either. I hope that this helps with your decision. Dolet me know, and happy shopping!

A bit pricey

[Color: Green, Size: 1inch*60yard]
The tape itself is excellent. Easy to rip, visible color, nice texture and easy to apply and remove without tearing finishes. The tape pulls out in a straight line and doesn't stretch like some others I have tried. All one could ask for with this type of product. One roll was damaged in shipping but I can still use it. Not the fault of the vendor, but the box it came in took a hit.

Nice and thin with low adhesion.Nice and thin with low adhesion.

Washi Masking Tape. TapeZilla.I chose the 1.88-inch wide green Washi Masking Tape from TapeZilla, and I’m really happy with how versatile and easy it is to use. The wider size provides excellent coverage for painting projects, and each roll contains plenty of tape, so it should last through multiple jobs.I appreciate that it’s made from premium washi paper, making it thinner and more delicate than traditional painter’s tape. That makes it an excellent choice for painted walls and other surfaces where you don’t want to risk peeling or damaging the finish. It tears easily by hand—no scissors needed—which makes application quick and convenient. Although it has a low-tack adhesive, it still sticks well to smooth surfaces and can be repositioned easily needed. I found that pressing it down firmly with my finger helped create a better seal, especially when using it for painting.Best of all, it removes cleanly without leaving behind any sticky residue.I used it for painting, labeling, and a few other projects with my Laser. I also wrote on it easily with both pens and markers. I like that it gives clean paint lines with very little paint bleed, saving me from extra touch-up work afterward. The bright green color is another nice touch because it’s easy to spot while working. This tape is eco-friendly, easy to reposition, and works well on a variety of surfaces, including walls, glass, wood, and plastic. While it may not grip textured or dusty surfaces quite as firmly as heavier-duty painter’s tape, I think that’s a worthwhile tradeoff for its gentle adhesive and clean removal.Overall, this is a high-quality, multi-purpose washi masking tape that’s perfect for painting, crafting, organizing, labeling, and other projects. It’s easy to use, removes cleanly, and delivers excellent results. I would definitely recommend it.

Sticks to Walls, Not Broken Hearts

[Color: Green, Size: 1inch*60yard]
This is great tape. I mostly use it to hang artwork on my walls, and so far it has held paper pieces securely without peeling paint or damaging the artwork when removed. I've also used it for labeling leftovers and jotting quick notes around the house. The color is bright and easy to see (could be used as landing strip), and it writes on well with markers and pens. It tears easily by hand, which makes it convenient to use. I usually buy blue painter's tape for these kinds of tasks, but this works just as well for me. It is nice to switch it up a bit.Let's get real though, most people looking at this tape probably already know what they'll use it for. It's great for hanging notes, labeling containers, organizing projects, and all those little household tasks that somehow keep multiplying. It might not be the best choice for sealing a package headed across the country, and it definitely won't fix a broken heart. For those jobs, you'll need a different kind of tape. I believe this brand even makes stronger options for heavier-duty tasks. As for me, one roll of tape usually lasts three or four years, so this pack should outlive several refrigerators full of leftovers, a few redecorating projects, and probably my ability to remember where I put the scissors. It's a practical and affordable tape that does exactly what I need it to do.

No more paint bleed with this useful, multi-project utility tape..recommended.

[Color: Green, Size: 1.5inch*60yard]
I needed a tape product that I could use for multiple scenarios - from art work to painting prep. Anyone who has painted knows how annoying it is to have paint "bleed" through on the edges. I was hoping this would help with that issue at a minimum. So, the washi paper material grips surfaces without leaving residue once I peel it away, which is important when I'm working on painted walls or trim. I've tested it on glass windows and wood so far, and it adheres consistently across both of them. The bleed-resistance also seems to work well. The tape creates a clean edge and prevents paint from seeping underneath, so I get sharp lines without a lot of touch up afterward. That's saved me time on several wall renovation projects. The hand-tear feature is convenient — I don't need scissors, which means faster application, especially when I'm masking off curved or uneven surfaces like door frames. So far, I've used it for labeling, temporary wall organization, and protecting wood trim while painting. At 1.5 inches by 60 yards, one roll covers most household projects without needing multiples, although I purchased a packet containing 3 rolls - and am glad I did.The low-tack formula keeps me from worrying about damaging delicate surfaces, which was a concern with other masking tapes I've tried before. For the price, versatility and ease of use - I'm a fan. This is an easy "recommended".

An exceptional masking tapeAn exceptional masking tape

[Color: Green, Size: 1.88inch*60yard, Color: Green, Size: 1.88inch*60yard]
The TapeZilla masking tape is made from washi paper and is lime green in color. Washi paper is known for being thin, durable and strong. Three rolls are included and each roll is approximately 1.88” W x 60 yards in length. The three rolls of tape were received packaged in shrink wrap.I ordered the washi paper masking tape in preparation for a painting project. The first thing I noticed was how smooth the surface of the tape was and how easily it was to write on it. Writing from a dark blue permanent marker was easily readable on the lime green surface. This was the first time I have used a masking tape made of washi paper and I immediately noticed its benefits compared to the name brand blue painter’s tape. The washi masking tape is easy to tear by hand and is easily repositioned several times without losing its adhesive strength. I did a quick paint test with the washi masking tape and brown acrylic paint. After drying, the washi masking tape was easily removable without damaging the cardboard surface and left a clean sharp line of paint without evidence of paint bleed. I placed several pieces of the washi tape around the house on painted wood and textured drywall and all were easily removable without damage. For me, the best feature of the washi masking tape is it can fold on itself (sticky side to sticky side) and still be perfectly usable after unfolding the tape. With the blue painter’s tape, once it is folded on itself, it is no longer useable. Overall, the washi masking tape is excellent and provides several advantages over the traditional blue painter’s tape. This will now be my masking tape of choice for future projects.
