First shipment I only received two magnets (one pair), box inside broke, amazon bag was ripped. Second shipment came through in one piece. Even though I had to reorder it since the replacement shipment was paper plates. Got my refund and reordered them. The box they were in before shipment was all torn up during shipment. The company should tape the box so the weight of the magnets doesn't break the box, luckily the amazon bag did not rip this time. They were just what I needed and product works great. Shipping is the issue here, not the product.

I bought these for a shower curtain that kept billowing inward, and they work much better than the smaller round weights I had previously purchased specifically for shower curtains. These are noticeably heavier, so they keep the curtain in place more effectively. The rectangular shape is especially useful with my step-in shower because the weights rest neatly against the raised lip instead of rolling or shifting around. They attach easily and feel secure on the curtain. They are fully encased in plastic, and I have not had any problems with rust despite regular exposure to water. These are a practical option when lighter curtain weights are not heavy enough to solve the problem.

These magnetic curtain weights are great for keeping curtains in place. The 75 ounce total weight is substantial and does a good job holding fabric down. The plastic sealed design means they are waterproof and rustproof which would be essential for outdoor use. They are easy to attach and the rounded edges do not damage the fabric. The magnets work well for holding curtains together for a clean closed look. They also help keep bugs out by sealing screen doors shut. The 6 pair pack gives you plenty to use across multiple windows or panels. The reason these lose a star is the magnetic contact surface. It is completely smooth which means the magnets can slide off each other if you open or close the curtains too quickly. A textured surface on the magnetic side would prevent this slipping and make them much more secure. I found I need to be careful when adjusting the curtains to keep the magnets aligned.Overall they are functional and well made for the price. Just be gentle when opening and closing or you may need to realign them.

These are very heavy magnets with a strong pull. The magnets are contained in a plastic box and the Beige color almost disappears against my beige curtains. I did drop one of the weights on the porch, and there was no damage. They have been rained on several times, with a couple of heavy downpours, and I can detect no leakage or corrosion, so these should be durable in most circumstances. For my back porch during winter, I have industrial weight clear plastic strips on the outward side, with curtains on the inside. This contains both wind and snow from infiltrating my porch, as well as keeping it up to 10* warmer than the air temp. I have installed bars at the bottom that keep the combination from blowing around. However, during summer, I remove the plastic to allow the curtains to "breath" while keeping rain out, allowing heat to escape, while still blocking sunlight from my windows and glass door. With only the curtains up, the bars cannot be compressed tightly enough to contain the curtain panels when there is a stiff wind.Since I already have a partial containment system, I did not need to closely adhere to the directions for placement of the magnets. I DID observe the rule about placement from the bottom (5-6"), but I didn't use as many as would typically be needed (1 at every pleat). After several high wind events, coupled with pouring rain, I can confidently say these were the solution I was looking for. The curtains stayed in place, thus keeping the rain out while allowing some air circulation.I actually plan to buy more since heavy duty magnets can come in handy for various projects and every day uses. I have 4 magnetic clips that hold my medium sized calendar on the fridge (yes, I use a physical calendar - LOL), and they are always sliding down the door. Using one of these heavy duty magnets will put an end to that.

These magnetic curtain weights are noticeably heavier than others I've tried, and they do a great job keeping outdoor curtains from constantly blowing around in light to moderate breezes. They're easy to attach, stay securely in place, and the plastic coating gives them a durable, waterproof finish that should hold up well outdoors. If you don't want to attach them as magnet, their slimmer size is just enough for some outdoor curtain seams that you could put them inside the seam, rather than magnet, giving you a bit more versatility in how you use them.I also appreciate that the magnets don't pull the curtain into an awkward shape, so everything hangs naturally. I do agree with the manufacturer's warning not to rely on them during high winds or severe weather—that's a realistic expectation for any product like this. For everyday use, though, they're well made, effective, and a great value.

I used these on the outdoor curtains of my covered patio, which is screened along the sides. The screens certainly cut down on the wind, but air still moves through them and can leave the curtains constantly shifting and billowing. These weights add enough substance at the bottom to make the curtains hang much more neatly without permanently attaching anything or sewing weights into the hems. These are considerably larger and heavier than the little curtain magnets I have seen before. Each pair is listed at 12.8 ounces, and the rectangular shape distributes that weight over a decent section of fabric. The magnets are very strong and snap together firmly through my curtain material. I also appreciate the single-sided magnetic design because the separate weights aren’t continually trying to stick to one another along the bottom of the curtain. The plastic-sealed exterior makes particular sense for my patio application, where the curtains are covered but still exposed to outdoor humidity and occasional moisture. They are simple, substantial, and have made my outdoor curtains hang and behave much better.(I do wish they cost less but overall I’d still get them again)

I was pretty impressed with these Magnetic Curtain Weights. If you are tired of your outdoor curtain constantly flying around with every slight breeze, this 6-pair set is exactly what you need. Why they easily earn a five-star review:Very Strong Magnets: These are very strong magnets. They feature serious holding power that clips tightly through heavy outdoor fabrics, canvas, or thick shower liners without slipping off or sliding down.Safe, Pinch-Free Design: A massive plus for these weights is their smooth plastic casing. Because of how they are constructed, a pair doesn't snap shut which can nip part of your skin. You can align and stick them together safely without worrying about painful pinches to your fingers.Excellent Wind Protection: They work great to keep heavy fabric anchored. They completely keep gazebo curtains from blowing in gazebo structures, holding them down neatly against the patio surface.Ordering Tip: Depending on the scale of your setup, you might need two orders to keep all four sides in place. A single 6-pair pack is great for adding substantial weight to a couple of panels, but if you have a full structure with multiple closing sides, grabbing a second box ensures total coverage.Final Verdict: These weights are heavy-duty, waterproof, and beautifully designed. The plastic wrap completely protects them from rusting outdoors, and the magnetic grip is outstanding. A must-have for patios, showers, or gazebos!

I have a standard nylon flag mounted to my exterior wall at a 75 degree angle. Several times a day, I have ti unwrap the flag that has twisted and layered around itself. While I don't have curtains, I ordered this because I saw in the advertisement that these magnets can be used on flags. I put 2 sets of 2 magnets spaced appropriately positioned. An hour later, the magnets were on the ground having fallen off. It wasn't even that windy.Because they are coated in slippery plastic, and the flag is nylon, I can see why they slipped off. Its a great idea and may be better on cloth fabric drapes, but not on a nylon flag.
