no issues yet with it I just got it so im only giving it 4 out of 5 due to not fully testing it on other applications but it is able to cut through refractry cement so thats epic next thing is to see how it does with other tasks, I currently do blacksmithing and Need something that provides the ability to drill very percisie holes with on point smooth holes. the case is also really good, hit the floor not a dent.

This review is for a very good quality 9 piece diamond hole saw kit being sold by DadouRi. This kit consists of five hollow core bits in 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", and 1-3/8" sizes. The kit also includes an arbor to hold the hollow core bits, two 1/4"pilot bits for the center of the arbor, a drift pin to remove the pilot bits and an additional round nose cutter 3/8"inch in diameter for smoothing, enlarging or reshaping holes, beveling edges, etc. All these items are well organized into a durable case. By my count that's 10 pieces not even counting the case, but the listing says 9 pieces. Bonus!The hollow core bits all have a depth capacity of about 1-1/4 inches and they have 5/8-11 threads to fit an angle grinder. In my testing while cutting several holes in hard porcelain tiles, these bits did very well. They produced very smooth clean edge holes, that were right on size. After cleaning up the bits, I could not find any indication on the abrasive areas they had actually even been used. As they say, "diamonds are forever", however, we cannot say the same for the adhesive holding them in place. Heat is the enemy for the bonding material. We can help these bits live longer, by working at lower RPMs, applying moderate pressure, and using water as a lubricant and to carry away the material that would otherwise clog the cutters and increase friction. Even though these bits are threaded for use on an angle grinder. I would not use them that way unless you have a variable speed grinder that can be set to lower RPMs. The angle grinders I have all run at high speeds.The very pointy and sharp end on the pilot bit makes positioning the larger saws relatively easy. For the smaller saws, I would recommend cutting a hole of the right size in a thin block of wood and sticking it to your hard surface with double sided tape. Remove the block once you have established the hole position. Even better, use these bits on a drill press if the situation allows, such as before installing the tiles. Overall, I think this is a high quality diamond grit hole saw kit with useful sizes. At about $50, the price is very good.
