It was super easy to install and seemed very versatile, I could have mounted it in almost any position, I chose a traditional horizontal installation.The feel is rich and elegant, yet durable and strong. A few screws and before I knew it, I was using a new door handle to open and close my bathroom door.Bonus, this set includes a lock-out feature for the interior handle and an emergency release access on the outside. The bolt and spring are so much quieter than the previous one I had on the door that the first few times I closed the door, I wasn't even sure it was latched.Highly Recommended because this quality set surely will continue to work well and last years, looking great doing it. This privacy door handle with lock it actually is very pretty to look at very simple I'm looking to upgrade to all matte black hardware.First I'd like to say that I noticed that this had pretty good look to it it's pretty durable if you happen to notice in the very first picture at the very bottom of the round ring there is like a little tab it's like a little button that is your lock so that side goes inside the room whatever door I'm guessing it's a bathroom that you'll be using that's where I'm using mine, and on the outside of the door there's a little hole and in that hole you can have a paperclip this comes with a key you could even probably use the tip of a pen I imagined to open this lock up in case somebody locks themselves in the bathroom by accident the best part I like about this setup is you will not accidentally push this button in it is definitely has to be done intentionally because it's the how the lever is you will not be pushing the lock accidentally unless you're going unless you're going into it and pushing it or you push it on your way out which that's definitely going to be intentional but it's not going to be a big deal because you can push that little lock open no problem you do not need keys to open this lock.So this is definitely going to be an upgrade for me the only thing I might not care for is it's circular I'm trying to go for square or rectangular so I'm not sure if I'm still going to be using this where I think I'm going to I might use it in a pantry door or somewhere out of the way that's not really so noticeable in my bathroom I have all square rectangular sort of shapes for the door pulls and things like that.But this one right here this is got some nice weight to it it's a good quality item the installation was very very easy I could not want it for something to be easier it was easy to Upgrade and of course seeing how I can possibly change this one out for another one and move it to a different door the Versatility is there to swap it out.Well there you have it folks like I said I'm not sure exactly where I'm going to use this but I definitely will be using it good quality it'll last for a good long time it's got a good weight to it it should not break or anything at least from normal wear and tear.Thank you for taking a moment as I evaluate and review this privacy door handle with lock.

I got the vintage bronze door handle and have mixed feelings. The handle is a classic straight lever, and the round setting will fit any standard door. You can face it to the right or to the left. The bronze coloring looked kind of strange to me, I expected a bronze color with a vintage feel, but this appeared a bit marble-ly to me. It's not a deal breaker. The zinc alloy material is nice and heavy and durable (I dropped one of the handles twice lol), and seems to be suitable for a bathroom since the description says it is rustproof and resistant to corrosion.Installation is relatively easy, the pieces all came apart when I took the handles out of the box, but I put them back together and tightened as normal once fitting the handles together through the door's hole. There isn't jiggling, so the fit inside the door is snug. The locking mechanism works but be mindful that it is easy to lock inside and if a child uses by accident make sure you are aware how to get them out.Now, if your door is really old, you might have very long inserts in the door, which will leave a gaping hole, so you'll have to fill that in, and also align properly with where it will latch. Overall this is a good set for an interior door.

Overall, this is a decent handle. Installation was easy and only takes a couple of minutes. The lever appears to be solid metal and has a nice heavy feel to it. Also, there is very little play/wiggle in the mechanism which adds the the premium feel. I got the matte gold finish and it looks nice with no flaws in the finish. Be aware, though, that if you choose this finish it will pick up finger prints easily.There are only a couple of small things that I didn't like about it. Firstly, it is fairly easy to bump the lock button and accidently push it in. This isn't really a big deal, but it can be inconvenient. Also, the instructions are not very good. It says that the handle is reversible, but doesn't describe how to reverse it. The rest of the instructions are a bit obvious, so you probably won't need them. These aren't a big deal, so I would still recommend it because of the premium feel and finish.
