Just installed this Topseat toilet seat and it was a very straightforward process. The instructions DO include written explanations along with pictures - read carefully and it is an easy install. That means it is NO PROBLEM to get the seat aligned properly. Also, I don't understand the 8-29-26 review, as it IS a slow, soft closing toilet seat. Most of each hinge and the "non-slip Bumpers" are either a silicone or rubberized plastic. Note that the seat bottom has only four non-slip bumpers, not six, as the hinge surfaces are not bumpers. The magic magnetic release works great. The seat itself is solid, made of quality materials, and just looks good.

Finally found a sturdy seat that's easy to install and easily removable. I would give it 5 stars except for a couple issues: it is NOT soft/slow/quiet close. While it doesn't slam down it's definitely not what I expect from the "quiet" description. The instructions are indecipherable pictures so be patient while installing. The process really is simple if you play around a while. Lastly, you may have some difficulty if you install it on a bidet. The bolts are a decent length but longer ones would make it easier. This is the first seat I've found that didn't wobble because of cheap plastic hardware or short bolts. All the hardware is strong metal, the seat is sturdy wood and the magnets reallyk do work.

Over the years, I've replaced many plastic and wood seats and this one is my favorite so far. It's not molded wood painted to look like natural wood. It feels solid and the seat bottom has six feet to help with strength and stability. Time will tell about durability but out of the box I am very pleased.

I am very pleased so far with this toilet seat. We’ve had it for about 2 months. It is very comfortable and super easy to clean. I was a little worried about how the magnetic connections would work, but they are fabulous. Installed it myself easily and the seat is so easy to remove for cleaning. I am going to purchase another one for our other bathroom.

When I first stumbled across this while looking for a toilet seat that was sturdy solid wood, could fit my bidet attachment, and was easy to clean I said to myself, "$50+ for a toilet seat is wild," but I'm glad that I didn't listen to my inner voice of reason. This thing has taken a relatively mundane experience and elevated it to new heights of comfort made from sustainable natural materials. A satin finish so you don't stick to the seat. The ability to quickly remove and clean the hardest to reach places of the porcelain throne. A soft close lid so you don't go bump in the night and disturb those sleeping. I can no longer call it a bathroom. With this subtle masterpiece installed the only sufficient word to call it is a Poopatorium!

Very very nice. It's sturdy, fits well and seems to be a quality seat. It's also very nice looking. Better in person than on the screen. I would definitely buy the same brand if I needed another.
