I ordered this fixture in the brass finish for our newly renovated kitchen, and it is absolutely beautiful. It has such a timeless look and reminds me of the vintage schoolhouse style light fixtures that are very popular right now without feeling overly trendy.I actually already had another light installed in this space that I thought I liked, but once I saw this one, I knew it was a much better fit for the overall style and feel I was trying to create. The combination of the brass finish and milk glass gives it so much character while still looking clean and classic.It looks much more expensive than its price point. For the quality and overall appearance, I think this is an incredible value and such an easy way to elevate a space.

I dont find this to be just another light - put in the right place it pops as a real work of art, and does not appear to be a cheap imitation of a vintage light! I have received compliments on the look. The brass finish and milk glass shade create a warm, elegant style that works well with both traditional and modern decor. Gorgeous high quality light! I was so excited to receive this. When I opened up the box and took it out it looked just as beautiful as the pictures if not nicer. This is going to get installed in my hallway of my 1940s house. The vintage but elevated design of it perfectly matches the design style that I’m looking for And that I’ve been using throughout the rest of the house. I love the details on it and the brass color is just gorgeous. The light is nice and sizable but not too big for my hallway space. I haven’t installed it yet, but I did fit all of the pieces together so that I can get a good look at it and everything fits together perfectly and looks so nice. Love it, just like every other light that I have received from this brand. All of them are super great quality and have that vintage styling down pat. They make amazing lights.

This is a great looking fixture — The gold color is more subdued than the photo suggests, which is what I was hoping for.My only complaint is that the milkshake housing does not secure very well to the fixture itself, so I worry about breaking it every time I change a bulb.Like many fixtures it has just three screws to hold the housing on, but the screws are very small, and the glass is quite heavy.It’s a great value for the money, but be sure to handle with care.

This fixture does not remind me of one in an old school classroom. As described, the dome is fluted whereas a simple rounded finish would (in my opinion) provide a more authentic vintage look. The description also states that the globe is hand blown glass however it has the feel and look of acrylic. Specifications for the socket are only suitable for a 40watt incandescent bulb per the users manual which differs from the description which states a 60watt bulb is allowed. In either case…using an incandescent bulb of 60 watts or less would only provided limited illumination. Perhaps you could overcome this limitation by using LED bulbs.
