Got this for my husband's son who's renovating a home in a nearby county. For the price, it's a good one because he's been using it to pull up the old wood laminate and help affix the new into a beautiful new floor for the fixer upper home. It's durable we know because he's already finished the bathroom and is working on the kitchen with it. The size is perfect and the fact it's a whole kit makes it worth it. It's lightweight enough for him to take with him and it adheres to the laminate very easily so he said the job's been a breeze.

Did exactly what it needed to do closed up an annoying gap that had been bothering me for weeks. It’s simple to operate once you get the hang of it, though the included instructions could be a little clearer for first-time use. Solid, functional tool for the price.

I recently moved into a place with hardwood floors, and one spot had a noticeable gap that was really bothering me. At first, I thought the only way to fix it would be to take the trim off, so we kept putting it off for another day. Then I found this floor gap fixer tool, and I am so glad I did.It was easy to use and fixed the gap without having to pull anything apart. I only needed to use it once, so I cannot really speak on long-term heavy use, but for the one repair I needed, it worked perfectly. I am very happy that I no longer have a gap in my floor, and it saved me from turning a small issue into a much bigger project.

I picked up this floor gap fixer to help with a few annoying gaps that had developed in my laminate flooring, and it worked much better than I expected. The tool feels solid and durable thanks to the heavy duty iron construction, and the 45° striking surface makes it easy to apply force without damaging the flooring. The suction cup has a strong grip and stayed attached securely while I worked. After a few taps with a mallet, I was able to pull several planks back into place and noticeably reduce the gaps. The included sticky pads are a nice bonus, helping protect the floor surface during use. I also appreciated that it comes with a slot cutter for removing the adhesive pads when needed. This isn't a magic fix for every flooring issue, but for floating laminate and vinyl floors with minor separation, it's a very handy tool to have. It saved me from having to pull up trim or disassemble sections of flooring to make small adjustments.Overall, it's well built, easy to use, and does exactly what it's designed to do. If you're dealing with gaps in laminate or vinyl flooring, this tool is definitely worth keeping in your DIY toolkit.

This is a handy tool to have if you have by ik , laminate or wood floors it has an extremely strong suction cup on it that you attach to the piece that has a fap. Then you use a hammer to tap one of the angle plates the direction you need it to move. If needed add some glue in the gap to make it stay after moving. Apply weight to hold it in place for a out an hour will likely take 24 hours to fully cure. Works like a charm it's compact, reasonably priced and quality built

The Floor Gap Fixer Tool is a mixed experience — useful, but not without quirks. The heavy‑duty iron body and 45° striking surface feel solid, and the enhanced suction cup does grip well on smoother laminate. The included slot cutter and sticky pads are nice extras that help with small adjustments.Where it falls short is consistency. The suction cup doesn’t always hold on textured vinyl, and it sometimes loses grip mid‑pull, which slows down the job. It can fix minor gaps, but it takes a few tries to get the right angle and pressure. For occasional DIY fixes, it’s serviceable; for frequent or professional use, it may feel a bit limited.

This tool kit is for fixing floor gaps in laminate, LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) , vinyl plank, SPC (Stone Plastic Composite), hardwood, and engineered wood flooring. The kit includes: the 45° Two-Way fixer, 3 adhesive pads, a slot cutter/gap cleaning tool and a pair of gloves. No instructions are included in the box, so be sure and preview the Amazon ad for this product. The floor must be of the floating type and not glued down. The metal suction cup tool(fixer) held up well after repeated strikes with a good rubber mallet. While the tool could hold on to the LVP by itself it did move a little with each blow of the mallet. Employing the adhesive pad provided solid contact and the tool did not move. For some reason I have two long strips of flooring that constantly pull away from the molding. In the past I wore tennis shoes and kicked the strip back into place, usually. With this tool I was able to close both gaps in less then 5 minutes. I do not have any side to side gaps to test. The cleaning tool is kind of flimsy and the gloves are to small to use. I would recommend using a rubber mallet, not a hammer. The fixer worked well, the cleaning tool and gloves cheapen the product. I would rather have a couple more adhesive pads.

The suction cup is incredibly strong on a smooth surface. This tool built with strength in mind. The sticky pads do what they are intended to, which is take a textured surface and make it smooth. This suction cup lifted a maple chair with ease. The rubber on the suction cup is very grippy but firm. Over this tool performs above expectations.
