Instructions were clear and easy, my husband put the same brand but different style fan in our boys room and took 40 minutes so once he did this one it took him 20.However, when this was installed the light worked just fine but the fan the motor seemed to be delayed. First we realized the blades were upside down (on instructions it’ll say “this side up” and there’s stickers on each blade saying the same so we assumed the direction of the assembly we faced them with the sticker facing us but we needed to face them away as the “this side up,”meant that side to the ceiling so instructions weren’t clear on that. So we fixed it but the motor was still delayed. My husband took the motor apart and nothing was wrong with it. Instructions said if there was 4 beeps (there was) it was the most common issue and to check for anything hindering the blades from moving (horrible advise for a solution) and there wasn’t since it’s on the ceiling so nothing is around it.After messing with it for 20 minutes we gave up and I was about to message the seller and it all of a sudden started to work! So thank goodness.As far as fan speed it does go pretty fast BUT I feel like our old fan we did feel a lot cooler faster and we could feel the cold air better. This fan I can feel a little breeze but not as much as my old and simple fan.The light though is VERY bright! It is a warm lighting but it’s bright so I do like that a lot.Over all, the light is bright and I love adjusting it, the fan speed is fast at the highest setting but you feel very little wind (yes it’s going counter clockwise for the summer) and fan was easy to put together but the motor delay caused our 20 minute set up to 40
