Well made, plenty of sizesWell made, plenty of sizes

[Size: 1/4"-3/4" & 6-18mm, Size: 1/4"-3/4" & 6-18mm]
I have another YOUNGPOWER metric ratcheting wrench set that I use regularly, so I decided to upgrade to this set and have imperial sizes too.The wrenches are well-made with a decent finish, and should stand up to heavy use. The ratchets work well under heavy torque. I haven't had one slip yet.If you need to get into tight places, consider different (more expensive) wrenches with a joint near the ratchet end. For most other things, these work great. It's important to note that the set contains metric sizes from 6-18mm, but there is no 7mm or 11mm wrench. (I've already had a situation where I could have used an 11mm tool, but the 7/16" is an adequate substitute for most jobs.) The imperial sizes run from 1/4" to 3/4" in 1/16" increments, plus a 9/32" and 11/32" wrench. It's rare you'll need any of the in-between sizes. The case they come in is impressive, with metal reinforced hinges and real clasps, not the molded in hinges and clasps that often break. But if you drop the case, some of the wrenches will fall out of their cradles.Nice set. 5 stars.

As a hard core DIYer I often need different tools for different scenarios. While I had a set of ratcheting wrenches, they had flexible heads and I've always found them difficult to use as clean replacements for regular box and open ended wrenches. What I was lacking was a good quality set of ratcheting combination wrenches that had a static box head. Not disappointed with my choice! This set includes 22 different straight head ratcheting combination wrenches in both metric and SAE (1/4in-3/8in, 7/16in, 1/2in, 9/16in-3/4in and 6mm, 8mm-10mm, 12mm-18mm). All wrench head sizes are stamped into the wrenches making it easy to tell what size you are grabbing. Each of these wrenches appear to be well made and solid - all made from Chrome Vanadium. The ratchet mechanism itself is very tight in terms of angular movement until lock (I counted 72 teeth which is about 5° rotation until the next tooth lock). This makes the ratcheting end very effective in tight spots where a couple of degrees on a normal ratchet just won't get you to the next tooth lock. No slop at all on this movement. On top of the above functional qualities, these ratchets are all made of Chrome Vanadium. The wrenches are housed in a solid plastic molded latching case.Overall, I am impressed with this excellent quality ratcheting combination wrench set, well made, and a very good value product.

Complete set of both Metric and SAE

[Size: 1/4"-3/4" & 6-18mm]
In the last couple years, I have found that the ratcheting wrenches have a few advantages over the ratcheting socket sets for many of my home projects. I ordered the Youngpower 22 piece ratcheting wrench set to have a complete set of each SAE and metric. Having 11 wrenches in each pretty much covers most of the sizes of nuts and bolts that I run across when doing repairs or building. You may notice that there is no 11 mm wrench in the metric slots. You can use a 7/16 inch SAE when confronted with that size in metric. The wrench set comes in a plastic carrying case that has a hinged case and latches. They should last for a very long time if not abused. The layout of the tools in the case makes it easy to find the size you seek. There is a problem with some of the larger wrenches staying in their assigned slots. With normal movement, 4 or 5 of the wrenches will fall out and be loose in the case. I am giving it 4 stars for this reason. Dealing with this will be mildly annoying over time. The wrenches are shiny and smooth without rough edges. They fit well, stayed on the nut or bolt head during loosening and tightening on the bench. The ratcheting side of the wrenches makes it very versatile to remove and tighten bolts. It can go places that a socket ratchet won't. Not having to remove and reset the wrench head in tight spaces is certainly a HUGE plus. The Youngpower 22-piece ratcheting wrench set is similarly priced with other ratcheting sets. It is worth the price.

This is a nice set of ratcheting wrenches in a plastic molded carrying case with secure latches. The wrenches are true to size, have a nice chrome finish, and have a decent thickness. I did remove one star for the ratcheting portion being a little coarse. The ratchet smoothly but there are other sets of wrenches out there that have finer teeth. Also there is no reversible switch on the ratchet so you have to flip it over to change the direction. Also on the ratcheting side there is no angle at the end of the ratchet so it's completely straight and that can cause an issue with interference. Because of this I removed one star. I will say this is a handy set of wrenches to have in your vehicle if you ever need to make a minor repair away from your house.

Excellent Ratcheting Wrench Set – Durable, Smooth, and Great Value

[Size: 1/4"-3/4" & 6-18mm]
The YOUNGPOWER 22-Piece Ratcheting Wrench Set, SAE & Metric, 1/4"-3/4" & 6-18mm exceeded my expectations. The chrome vanadium steel construction feels solid and durable, while the mirror-polished finish gives the tools a professional look and makes them easy to clean after use.The 72-tooth ratcheting mechanism is incredibly smooth, and the 5-degree swing arc is a huge advantage when working in tight spaces, especially during engine repairs. Having both SAE and metric sizes in one complete set means I always have the right wrench on hand for the job.The wrenches fit fasteners securely with minimal play, providing confidence and reducing the chance of slipping. I also appreciate the corrosion-resistant finish, which should help them last for years with regular use. The included storage case keeps everything neatly organized and makes it easy to transport the set between jobs.Overall, this is a high-quality, well-designed wrench set that offers excellent performance, convenience, and value. Whether you're a DIY enthusiast or a professional mechanic, this set is a fantastic addition to any toolbox.

Kind of disappointed with this. It's a relatively complete set and functionally the wrenches seem OK. But it arrived in poor shape and with a missing/duplicate wrench. if I'd spent my hard-earned money for it as I received it, then it very likely would be going back.Understanding that it can be rough trip sometimes, I don't count against it that quite a few of the wrenches were loose in the case. But most all were very dirty and smudged with some type of residue along with noticeable fingerprints (see images). Does not appear to be from having been previously opened and returned. Some of it could be easily wiped off but not all. I had to use a solvent to get it off. Once that was cleaned up, I could see lots of scuffing and scratches in the finish. Hard to tell how much from bouncing around loose in the case vs from some mishandling following final polish, but seems to be a mix of both given that the same can be seen on wrenches that weren't loose. There's also some waviness to the surface of some that's hard to capture in pictures. It's only on the surface and not significant but easily noticed in the surface reflection. Maybe some variance in final machining or finishing. Last, the 11/16" wrench is missing and there's a second 5/8" in its place. So not a real great first impression. All of the bad stuff out of the way, the wrenches generally seem fine functionally and look to be reasonably well made. Note that there's no 11mm included in the set. They have a flat profile with no offset at the box end. Ratchet mechanism seems pretty solid. Nothing loose or sloppy. A little back drag on some but not too bad. They have a flat side with distinct edges. Chrome finish seems well done other than the scuffing/scratching after the fact. The case is nothing special but good enough to keep things together and it does have a metal-pinned hinge and latches vs molded plastic that doesn't last with much use. If you're going to use it for storage, then I'd suggest replacing the thin piece of foam that comes with it. A more dense piece would better keep things in place. Will hold OK in normal use but if bounced around much or dropped, then things will come loose.Price would be fine for a full set of ratcheting wrenches like this if QC is stepped up. Maybe I just got a one-off bad example. I have no way to know. I'm just going by what I received. I'll keep this in my truck as a back-up set so I'm OK with them as they are. But, again, if I'd received this priced at ~$70 as a regular Amazon customer, then I wouldn't have been real happy about it.

This ratcheting wrench set works great. At under $70, this seems like a good bargain on a set that covers both SAE and metric. Yes, there are a couple of minor shortcomings , as might be expected at this price point. For example, the backdrag on the wrenches is significant. It's not huge, but it's enough to often require some pressure when running down loose bolts. Also, the isn't perfect, either. If the case is knocked around, some of the tools will fall out of place. To me, both of these issues are minor when compared to the price. The backdrag is predictable and easy enough to overcome. And the case is perfectly serviceable - it has a proper hinge and 2 good clasps. On the plus side, the wrenches fit great. For example, the open end on the 11/16 measures 0.6835 inches (compared to 11/16 = 0.6875). And I really like that the wrenches have a good, deep engraving for all the size markings. These aren't ever going to wear off or get obstructed by debris. The marking are on both end, front and back, too. Plus, this set doesn't try to cheat by skipping a metric size when there's a close match on the SAE side (aside from the very top end at 3/4 inch which is an almost exact match for 19mm). The ratcheting mechanism is fairly smooth, and I like the 12 point sockets so you almost always land right on the bolt without having to twist anything to get it in the hole. Also, the arc swing is decent, somewhere between 5-10 degrees.

YOUNGPOWER 22-Piece Ratcheting Wrench Set, SAE & Metric, 1/4"-3/4" & 6-18mm Box & Open End Combination Wrenches, CR-V Steel with storage roll. I have not used this specific set yet, but I have the Youngpower eight piece set that I have used, and really enjoyed it, it worked great came in handy in a extremely tight space while repairing my lawn tractor.Always wanted to pick up a set of ratcheting wrenches, so much more convenient for a tight space when you cannot use a ratchet socket set. So I finally did picking up their smaller SAE set, it came in so handy I decided to get a full set including metric. These CR-V steel wrenches feel solid in hand and very well-made. The ratcheting mechanism is smooth and solid, allowing for tight swing when working in confined spaces. They come nicely organized in a storage case, conveniently marked with sizes for quick access. The case is decently made and should protect and makes transportation and storage much more convenient. The case is better than some of the average cases where the hinges are just foldable plastic and the same with the class, which proceed to finally break you off overtime. This set has two separate plastic buckle style closure clamp and a full length pinned hinge when for opening. Seem to be nice quality at a great price.
