Reviewing the Foundrain Store's Stainless steel eye hooks with driver bit in black.This sete arrived at my location in great shape and perfect working order....even the case made it intact.I love these handy eye bolts. I use these to hang a ton of items around the yard and work shed/man cave.These are currently holding up....wind chimes, sun catchers, string lights, usb lamps and bird feeders.The bolts are easy to screw into wood or trees. Use the included bolt holder in your drill and start it off slowly. Once you get it started...continue drilling slowly until it hits the right depth.The length is awesome at 2''. The dark black color is much more appealing than white. The threads are well cut and hold firmly in all the situations I have used it. There is also a latch to keep items that are hung in place.Once the eye bolt is in place....it has not moved in all situations.Overall, this is one versatile eye bolt. They have really helped me securely set all my hanging items in spot and have held securely for many months. Also, these are made of stainless steel which is the perfect material for being out in the sun and elements. Getting 24 in the pack puts these at about 75 cents per bolt which is quite competative.Great item....highly recommended for all those hanging chores on your chore list.

These hooks truly are 304 stainless steel — at least, the hook part is. I found it to be nonmagnetic. The latch, on the other hand, is slightly magnetic, suggesting it's made from a slightly different metal mix. That said, I was pleased to see both parts resisted rust. I left the item sitting in a glass of water for over a week, and not a hint of rust appeared.I measured the thickness of the hook at 3.2mm. It's 2.08" long. The outside width of the hook is about 1.02", while the inside width is about 0.59".There's an included driver bit meant to help screw the hook into place, but I found it awkward to use. When holding the hook against a wooden surface and spinning the bit with a drill, the jagged tip on the end of the hook scraped against my fingers, which wasn't pleasant. What worked better was predrilling a small pilot hole with a regular drill bit, partially screwing in the hook by hand, and then finishing it off with the driver bit.Overall, these hooks operate well and are durable for their size. The latch springs shut easily and doesn't require much pressure to open.

Its great that a tool was included with these specific screws. The only thing I would recommend is pre-drilling a pilot hole.

Overall these eye hooks are good quality and do what they are supposed to do, the latch part of the hook is a nice feature and makes whatever you are hanging more secure, I don’t have anything that negative to say about them apart from the packet I received a number of the hooks was missing the latch part, otherwise these are good hooks.
