This is a very solid and substantial outdoor post light. The construction feels good, and the diffused light gives it a nice, softer glow instead of a harsh exposed-light look. It has a clean modern style and should look good on a gate post, driveway column, or entry pillar.That said, this is still a substantial price for what appears to be another integrated LED tape-style light running through the fixture. It looks good and feels well made, but at this price point I always prefer something with replaceable bulbs or a more serviceable lighting component.So far, I like the look and build quality, but time will tell how well the LED portion holds up outdoors. If it lasts, it should be a nice piece. If the light fails early, it becomes an expensive fixture to replace.
