Have not tried the gun yet. Tried fitting up the adapter, cup , liner, lid and lock ring. There are no instructions on assembly. Only has instructions for fixed cup. It is difficult to get the four tabs to latch the locking ring to the cup. Also the connection of the cup lid to the adapter is very tight. Will try and see how the gun works when fully assembled.

This is a surprisingly complete spray gun kit for the price. The gun itself feels well made and substantial without being overly heavy, and I really like that the kit includes multiple nozzle sizes along with the disposable cup system. Whether you're doing automotive work, furniture, cabinets, or other painting projects, there's a lot of versatility here.The LVLP design is one of the biggest advantages. It doesn't require the same amount of airflow as many larger HVLP guns, which makes it much more practical if you don't have a huge shop compressor. Atomization is very good when the gun is adjusted correctly, and the fan, fluid, and air controls give you plenty of adjustment to dial in the spray pattern for the material you're using. Overspray is also quite manageable.Another major plus is getting 1.3mm, 1.5mm, and 1.7mm nozzle/needle setups. That gives you considerably more flexibility than a gun that comes with a single fixed size. You can set it up for finer automotive finishes and clear coats or switch sizes when working with somewhat heavier coatings. Changing the components is straightforward, although you do need to make sure you're using the matching needle and nozzle components together.I especially like the 10 disposable 22-ounce cup/liner setups. Once you've used a disposable paint cup system, it's hard to go back to constantly cleaning a traditional cup. They're convenient for mixing, spraying, changing materials, and reducing cleanup afterward. Getting ten of them in the package adds real value.The kit is also unusually complete. In addition to the spray gun and three nozzle sizes, you get the air regulator, oil/water separator, reusable mixing cup, disposable cups and liners, adapters, connector, wrench, and cleaning accessories. You can tell some thought went into putting together a package that someone can actually use instead of including just the gun and leaving you to purchase everything else separately.I also like the coated finish on the gun. Besides looking good, it makes dried paint and general shop grime easier to deal with. The gun is comfortable in the hand and light enough that using it for a larger project doesn't become tiring as quickly as some heavier guns.For around $75—and even better with the available coupon—I think this is excellent value for a complete LVLP setup. Obviously, good results still depend on proper paint preparation, air pressure, gun adjustment, distance, and technique, but the equipment itself gives you everything needed to get a very good finish.Well-built gun, good spray control, three useful nozzle sizes, low air requirements, disposable cup system, and a ton of accessories for the money. This easy to use LVLP air spray gun kit by KCNKCN is very well made and very convenient to use. I have a professional airless paint sprayer that does not see much use because it's so much trouble to clean up afterward. I typically just use a roller and brush. This leak-free paint sprayer does a wonderful job and makes painting much quicker than a roller and brush, especially for trim and non-flat surfaces, doors and furniture, making it very versatile. The best part is that clean up is quick and easy. The price is very reasonable for the build quality, all of the accessories included and the results. I’ve been using HVLP’s for a while now, but I really should’ve been using an LVLP this whole time. I have two compressors, and they’re both relatively small. I also don’t do a lot of spraying, and I rarely tackle extremely large projects. An LVLP is better for me because it uses far less air to achieve the same (or better) results, meaning I can do a lot more before my compressor kicks on.So far, I can’t see a downside to using an LVLP over and HVLP, but it could come down to the type of finish being applied. I use a lot of lacquer and water based products, and you could see different results if you use more oil-based or solvent based paints.The quality here is decent, although I don’t expect it to last many years. It looks like your standard HVLP, but the front nozzle is different and not interchangeable with HVLP parts. Some of the parts on this specific sprayer look like they weren’t machined with precision in mind, having some deformations in the metal. As far as I can tell, the deformations are purely aesthetic and don’t affect functionality, but time will tell if that’s really true.I did have some trouble creating an air-tight connection, but once I switched to a different brand for the male threaded hose connector it worked. Don’t trust the quick connectors included in this set, or the thread tape. It’s all junk.The regulator is also junk, but it does help provide a visual reference for psi. Just know that it’s not a true regulator, and you can’t really change the pressure from this part alone. It has two states: open or closed. It will read whatever pressure your tank is at when open, and it’ll real zero when closed. There’s no in-between. Still, it helps a little bit since I don’t have to go to the air tank to confirm psi. I can just look at the pressure gauge.Results are good, and I had no problems with overspray or splatter, and cleanup is pretty easy.Overall, I definitely recommend this kit, but it’s important to understand that this isn’t a top-shelf product. It’s a cheap knock-off, and that’s evident from the moment it arrives.But that doesn’t mean it won’t work for you.I can still recommend it.

This gun was a game changer for me. I'm a rookie when it comes to painting (this being the third paint job) the first two I did with a black widow help from hf with satisfactory results (not a lot of luster and quite a bit of orange peel) whether that was set up or operator it was frustrating. I read the reviews on this gun as well as had one of the machining teachers at school mention how great this gun was for DIYers. Air cap was flawless and no issues with anything else. Loved that it came with regulator that visually was well made as well as an oil/water separator that looked equally well made but when looking at the additional 1.5 & 1.7 cap and needles immediately you could see what I can only describe as an elderly blind person using a dart, they were just throwing at a dart board to try and clean the air cap. I was spraying my first metallic paint and really want a good end result. This did just that for me! I used a 1.5 as I was using a single stage enamel and figured that would be best. Got the paint mixed did a test spray to dial in the gun and am so thrilled with the results!!! I'd recommend this for any DIYer and rookie painters such as myself. It's easy to use, comes with everything you need, and I like the dialing in instructions it comes with as well. Overall, a great buy, it's durable, easy to clean, no leakages, light weight, versatile to your needs, good pressure, gave a finish that I'm pleased with and gave me a confidence boost too!
