Quality is apparent in everything about these 2 green glass pendant lights. Each light has a really nice brass socket. I appreciate that the sockets are quality brass and that the sockets are neither plastic nor ceramic. A lot of cord is provided to accommodate most needs for height placement, and the cord is of a nice quality, too.These lights are not powered by plugging a cord into a wall outlet. Instead, the lights are powered by splicing the cord to existing wiring that is already available in the ceiling. I recommend having a licensed electrician to perform the task. In doing so, an electrician will install or have an existing wall switch be used to operate the 2 lights. If, however, you should desire to only have one of the two lights on and producing light, there is an on/off knob on each socket that can be utilized for turning on/off the light. The metal knob is responsive and easy to turn.Bulbs are not provided, so you will need to buy bulbs for these 2 pendant lights. The light will transmit through the green glass quite a bit, so I would recommend using an opaque bulb (that is easier on the eyes) instead of a clear bulb which is harsh on the eyes.This is a really nice set of quality pendant lights. My price point was $69.99. Recommend.

When I moved into my new home, I was very excited about my beautiful (although very white) new kitchen. It has lots of sunlight and the white cabinet, white counters and white walls brighten it up even more. However, it was a bit too much white so I decided on a botanical theme, leaning heavily towards green. I mostly didn't love the very plain, almost industrial looking, clear pendant lights that hung over the kitchen island. So when I saw that these lights came in green, I thought it would be a perfect fit.It took a while to get settled in enough to finally hire someone to hang these lights (neither I, nor my husband get up on ladders any more). When the contractor came over, he very easily and quickly swapped out the old pendant lights for the new green and gold ones. And although I was concerned, I just love the new look! I reused the same lightbulbs that have filament showing and cast a warm light, which is perfect as I didn't want bright lights. These lights are a dimmable switch and that works well too. Overall the installation was easy for contractor and he had them up within 30 minutes for both. You just have to connect the right wires (which is standard).These lights are the perfect size and are a little on the smaller side, thich is what I needed (be sure to check measurements so that they work in your space). I love the sort of old fashioned look and the green fits perfectly in my kitchen. Overall, the quality is good and I think the price is an excellent value considering you get two lights with everything you need to hang them (except your tools and light-bulbs, of course).

This pendant light set is a great value, especially for the coupon price. The globe is heavy glass that should not break. The cord is heavy as well, and the gold fixtures are good quality.The globes are not large, but easy to get your fingers into to change the bulb. I would call them a medium size for pendant lights. The green color is attractive. Most people will not want a large green glass light. So the size is perfect for just a spot of color.I have not installed them yet, but I think it will be easy to do. Overall, a nice set of lights for the price.

It’s a beautiful set of two green pendant lights with ribbed glass. The fixture in the ceiling and the pendant part exposed above the shade are gold, which complements the green collar glass. You could use these as nightlights in your bedroom, one on each side of your bed.You could place them over a kitchen island to provide lighting for diners there. You use it in the dining room. You place them on either end of a couch if you wish to light up the couch area for reading.The key drawer or attraction is the green glass lampshade, handmade from mouth-blown glass. I made it with a striped sign. This is a very unusual piece of glass shade that becomes almost an artwork.Another feature of this fixture is that it has an adjustable hanger, you to hang up to 60 inches from the ceiling, and that would depend on the height of your ceiling and where you’re placing what you’re replacing, adjacent to a couch where someone may be reading or replacing it over a kitchen island dining situation. If you’re doing the work yourself, you would cut appropriate holes in the ceiling adjacent to Joyce using a Joyce Fonda, and connect a US standard junction box, flush-mounted with the ceiling, to the joy that is adjacent to it with two or three long 6-inch wood screws. You then run a wire from each junction box to the other, sneak it down, and take it across the ceiling and down the sidewalk. Electricians use a device that is an electrical tube, which is a rigid bar, and it’s like a scope that they would use for a colonoscopy, except they usually use it for the walls in the ceiling, where they look for blockages in the best way to snake wire down. They do the same thing on the sidewall, simply by drawing small holes and inserting this tube to look around this way, they can quickly get the wire down to the nearest outlet, all the way down to the basement to connect it to a circuit breaker control panel box.If you’re installing two new junction boxes, you may not have all the necessary tools, and you may end up paying more to get them. Hiring a licensed electrician, or someone familiar with electrical installation, might be an easier path to follow. If you’re installing these two beautiful lights, you have more freedom in the way you put them, and you wouldn’t be looking at a previously used junction box.

I am absolutely in love with these pendant lights! We plan to install them in our dining room, and after seeing them in person, I am even more excited about the project.
