We got this washer drain hose to replace one on our LG washing machine. In addition to the hose, you get a pair of gloves, retaining clip, clamp and screwdriver. It appears to be quality material. Fits great and was easy to install. Great price, too.

I used this hose to replace a worn drain line, and it fit securely without turning the repair into an all-day project. The length gave me enough room to route it comfortably, and the hose felt sturdy rather than flimsy. Including gloves and a screwdriver was a thoughtful touch, although the screwdriver is fairly basic.The washer has been draining normally since the replacement with no leaks so far. Overall, this is a convenient repair kit that saved me from calling an appliance technician.

I am always leary of hoses and washing machines/machines that use high pressure water on a daily basis. When I was younger, and more naive, I assumed that all parts of the washing machine lasted the life of the machine, this was sadly not true. When a early morning hose ruptured when I was sleeping, it flooded part of my house; I spent the next several days cleaning up my home, and fighting with y insurance company to cover repairs and fix all the damage.Sadly the damage and the resulting repairs were denied, and I was on the hook for all the repairs. The reason for denial- the hoses on the back of my machine were outside the normal age range/life of the hose(s) - or at least that is what I vaguely remember from the denial letter.Ever since, I label all my hoses and parts that come off of my washing machine, dishwasher, and sinks, after 5 years for rubber, and 7 years for braided metal, I remove the hoses and replace them with new. This apparently is a little known requirement, and a way certain companies dodge costly repairs.As far as this part, it fits well, the quality of construction is impressive, and holds up well without kinking or requiring handling by kid gloves. Installation is somewhat difficult, but only because I had to move the washing machine out of my way to reach the part I replaced this with. For value of the money, this replacement was a small amount, even though there doesn't seem to be a standard for replacing the drain hose, I marked this with today's date, and will, if it is still in use in 5 years, take this part, discard it ad replace it with a new one, to save me the hassle of the damage I still remember from years ago.

I was having issues with my old drain hose and decided to give this a try. It was very easy for me to set up and it included everything I needed to install it. I have run a few loads of laundry so far and everything is working great so far. I have yet to see any leaks and the water is flowing out nicely.

The parts and kit are mostly good. The spring-clamp is weak. The hose attachment on the dryer end will easily come off.The video shows how easily it slips on and off even with the clamp in place. The black hose in the video is the factory hose.This replacement hose comes with the plastic adapter. The drain-end is well designed to fit standard washer discharges. The flanged end keeps the discharge quiet. But, I won’t trust this to not blow off in the washer-end so I won’t be using this kit. The last picture shows the place I was able to best make this fit properly.
