Chainsaw Gloves
Chainsaw Gloves
Key Features
- WEATHER-ADAPTIVE QUALIHIDE PIGSKIN LEATHER: Stop suffering from cowhide gloves that turn into stiff, painful cardboard when wet. These gloves feel much lighter and offer a better fit than regular bulky gloves, while the QUALIHIDE PIGSKIN palm provides long-lasting durability and breathability. They stay exceptionally soft and easy to move in, even after getting soaked in sweat, rain, or oil.
- 12-LAYER CHAINSAW SPROCKET-JAMMING PROTECTION: Designed to keep your hands safe and give you peace of mind while cutting. The back of the left hand—the most critical strike zone during accidental kickback—is heavily fortified with 12 layers of high-tenacity chainsaw-stopping fabric. Upon contact, these advanced technical fibers are rapidly drawn out to choke and jam the chainsaw drive sprocket, immediately stalling the chain to prevent serious injuries.
- DIRT-RESISTANT BACK-FINGER TOUCHSCREEN: Unlike standard gloves that place conductive material on the palm side, we uniquely positioned the touchscreen fabric on the back of the fingertips (thumb, index, and middle). When your palms are covered in bar oil, sawdust, or dirt, the back of your fingers remains clean. This innovative design allows you to reliably operate smartphones, consult GPS maps, or answer calls without smearing grime on your screen or losing touch sensitivity.
- LIGHTWEIGHT MECHANIC-STYLE FLEXIBLE & SECURE WRIST: Traditional chainsaw gloves are heavy and restrict movement. We designed these for an ultra-lightweight, mechanic-style fit. Enjoy excellent grip and tactile flexibility for operating equipment. The black elastic cuff and heavy-duty (HDD) hook-and-loop strap provide a secure custom fit, completely blocking out sawdust and flying wood chips.
- MULTI-PURPOSE FORESTRY & LANDSCAPING UTILITY: Built for professional arborists, loggers, and serious DIYers. Whether you are felling trees, bucking logs, operating Chainsaw, or clearing dense brush, these gloves deliver. The 12-LAYER SPROCKET-JAMMING PROTECTION, QUALIHIDE PIGSKIN LEATHER grip, and debris-blocking cuffs secured by an (HDD) hook-and-loop strap ensures uncompromising safety and performance across all demanding outdoor tasks.

These hi-vis gloves fit perfectly and are true to size. They appear to be well made, and are very comfortable to wear.I have a chainsaw, and use it maybe a couple time per year. There's no way I'm trusting these gloves to actually provide protection for my hand from a direct blade hit. I'm also dubious about the "12 layer" protection claim because they are just not that thick.I will say they make nice gardening gloves, and that's what I've been using them for. I was able to navigate my phone with the back of my finger, as designed, but it was pretty clunky. I can't use that feature anyway, because work requires me to use a fingerprint for biometrics. If you use face, pin or pattern unlock, you'll be able to navigate around but it'll take some practice to get smooth with it.For gardening and general household use these gloves are just fine, but when I'm using my chainsaw these are not the gloves I'll be reaching for. Finally, these are a overpriced for what I consider general purpose gloves. It's hard to recommend these for that reason.

So...I do a lot of gardening and this involves a lot of cutting and sawing. A lot of thorns especially when working with roses. So when I saw this...I figured it would be perfect. This comes with a nice looking milky white resealable zip lock type container that works perfectly to keep them together. These are comfortable to wear and are very highly visible. I immediately used them and of course while gardening... Listening to music on my phone. This works with the touch screen... Though you'll have to use the top tip part of the gloves... Where your nails would be. It works fine like that. I got snagged a couple of times in rose bushes and I didn't even feel the thorns. It's thick enough to handle brambles. The fit is good. The leather is real and this looks like it's going to be durable in the long run. These are staying in my tool box... Next to my gardening shears and lopers.I can't think of any way to improve this and also fairly priced for the protection you get.

These gloves are comfortable and flexible, and they work pretty well as general yard work gloves. The pigskin leather palm feels useful for gripping tools, branches, and outdoor equipment, and the bright orange color makes them easy to find. They are lighter than bulky work gloves too… so movement and dexterity are better than I expected. My concern is the chainsaw safety claim. The listing says there is 12-layer protection on the left hand, but the reviews are mixed, and one reviewer directly said they would not trust these as real saw safety gloves. Since chainsaw protection is serious, I would treat these more like extra-protection yard gloves, not as something to rely on for major chainsaw protection.Pros:Comfortable and flexibleGood bright high-vis colorLeather palm has decent gripUseful for yard work and trimmingCons:Chainsaw protection confidence is questionableProtection is mainly on the left handTouchscreen may not work wellMay feel warm during summer workOverall: Good gloves for yard work, brush cleanup, and light cutting tasks, but I would be cautious calling them true chainsaw safety gloves. For serious chainsaw work, I would choose a more proven certified pair.

I bought these to wear while cutting down some trees at the front of my driveway, and honestly, they feel great. They're way lighter and more flexible than those bulky regular work gloves, and the leather palms stayed nice and soft even after I started sweating. The dirt-resistant touchscreen on the back of the fingers is a surprisingly clever touch since my palms were covered in wood dust and oil, but I could still check my phone without ruining the screen. Now, I obviously wasn't about to actually attempt to put the chainsaw across my hand just to make sure they do what the description says, but knowing that 12-layer protection is there on the left hand gives some peace of mind. The wrist straps also do a solid job of keeping all the flying wood chips and sawdust out. Overall, a really solid, comfortable pair of landscaping gloves.

We got these for pole saw trimming and outdoor yard work where extra hand protection makes sense. Thankfully, there has not been any mishap, but the left-hand protection gives extra peace of mind around cutting and trimming tasks. These fit like a glove, which is good, because they are gloves. They are also more flexible than expected for something with chainsaw protection. The palm has a thick suede leather, similar to old-fashioned work gloves, with a good grip for handling tools. These also seem useful for nature preserve work, brush cleanup, trimming, and relocating plants. I would be cautious about treating them as true cactus gloves because I am not sure the palms are meant for cactus spines, but for handling tools, branches, and general outdoor work, they seem practical. The touchscreen placement is a smart touch too, since being able to use a phone without taking off dirty gloves is actually useful when working outside.

My husband needed some new work gloves and these are perfect because he's using them for yard work including chainsawing, since we had a lot of trees come down in a bad storm. I love that these are high-vis color so he can actually find his gloves when he leaves them laying around. And I'm talking these are HIGH visibility - they practically glow! The touchscreen ability is not something we were able to make work but it's easier to just pull the glove off if you have to use your phone. The fit is good and the leather palm is really tough. They are pretty warm, so expect sweaty hands if you're out chainsawing in the summer. It can't be helped though, if you want super protective gloves like this. The stitching and construction of the gloves is better than expected. On my husband's man hand they fit great, but on my women's hands the fingers are way too long so they are definitely men's gloves.

I ordered these gloves from HANDLANDY in a size large for a family member that normally wears that size rather than based on the size chart. The advertised chart only gives a circumference measurement where I would like to also see finger lengths. This wearer has a hand circumference of 8”, middle finger length of 3.5” and thumb 2.5”. The glove fits with a little room across the hand and at the end of the thumb, but the other fingers fit well. Another member of our family that normally wears an XL glove also tried these on. They have a 9” circumference, and 4.25” middle finger. These fit tighter but not too snug across the hand. This wearer’s fingers could use a bit more length – the area between the first finger and thumb won’t pull completely down to the fit the hand, so he would prefer an XL. These gloves do seem to be made well of durable comfortable materials. The protection patch on the left hand is visibly stitched but thankfully has not been put to the test. All the stitching on the gloves look well done.
