I got the 3-light version, which is ~19" long, in brushed nickel and the light bar holding the lights is a single piece of metal. I noticed that the 4-light version is actually 2- pieces with a joining bracket (likely for packaging reasons) - and I didn't like that appearance. Using LED bulbs, I can get similar illumination as the 4-light version.The frosted white glass shades eliminate the harsh direct light while providing sufficient lighting for shaving or makeup application.Installation is straightforward, as long as you already have an electrical junction box above your mirror. I had builder grade lights that were arranged with a long connection that avoided the need for a junction box, so had to add one. While this made the installation take longer, it is not the fault of this light.I added a dimmer switch as well and had no issues, as I was using dimmable LEDs.Overall, the install was fairly straightforward, and I just had a little wall repair and paint due to the removal of the older builder-grade lights.
