Attractive, Well-Made Upgrade KitAttractive, Well-Made Upgrade Kit

[Color: Matte Black, Color: Matte Black]
This kit is a good fit for an R1000 rough-in valve we got to go with it. All the parts lined up and threaded tightly without any real overt effort. It was a matter of about a half hour to add this trim kit to our new valve once it was installed and pressure tested. This kit works well, using our good water pressure to really produce a convincing amount of "rain" from the shower head. The mixer handle is comfortable and it is easy to understand without seeming to be busy with markings. The whole kit feels solid, durable and likely to last a good, long time. The shower head has vinyl "ports" where water is sprayed and these are very easy to keep clean. I just rub them if hard water deposits start to effect the flow or pattern. The matte finish matches other matte black fixtures we have, making it a perfect fit for our project.I think the whole kit is a good value, it comes with everything I needed and left me with no need to go shopping for "missing" parts. The price as of this writing is surprising reasonable for such a good kit, making this a very good value.

Modern Look That Instantly Refreshes the Bathroom

[Color: Matte Black]
This trim kit gave my shower a much more modern appearance without replacing the plumbing behind the wall. The finish looks clean and premium, and the rainfall shower head provides excellent water coverage. The pressure remained strong, and everything fit together nicely during installation. It's a great way to give an older bathroom an updated look.ProsModern appearanceNice finish qualityGood water coverageStraightforward installationFeels well madeConsVerify compatibility with your existing Delta valve before orderingOverall: A great cosmetic upgrade that makes the shower feel much newer.

Gave my shower a modern facelift

[Color: Matte Black]
My old shower trim was dated and scratched up, so I swapped in this kit and it completely changed the look of the bathroom. The matte black finish is clean and sleek, and the 10 inch shower head gives great water coverage without feeling like a fire hose. Installation was straightforward since I already had the valve in place. Everything went on smoothly and the handle feels solid when you turn it. The rain shower effect is a nice upgrade from the old standard head. If you want to update your bathroom on a budget, this is a great option.

The finish is beautiful, the hardware feels substantial, and the shower head performs very well. Installation was straightforward, and everything fit together nicely. The quality exceeded my expectations and it looks like a much more expensive fixture.

Good Alternative to More Expensive OptionsGood Alternative to More Expensive Options

Our bathroom wasn't in bad shape, but the old shower hardware was definitely starting to show its age. This trim kit ended up being a simple way to update the look without getting into a larger remodel. The matte black finish looked good in person and matched the photos fairly well. I was a little concerned that the finish might look cheap, but that wasn't the case. The shower head is a good size, and the overall appearance is much more modern than what it replaced. Once everything was together, it gave the shower a cleaner and more updated look. One thing worth noting is that the valve and cartridge are not included, so make sure you know what you're getting before ordering. Other than that, I didn't run into any surprises. The parts looked good once installed, and everything came together the way I expected. Sometimes replacement trim kits can look nice online but feel disappointing in person. This one didn't really have that problem for me. It isn't a luxury shower system by any means, but it does a good job of improving the appearance of an older shower without spending a fortune.

Quick and Stylish Upgrade, but Keep the Plastic in MindQuick and Stylish Upgrade, but Keep the Pl...

[Color: Matte Black, Color: Matte Black]
I recently picked up this replacement trim kit to give my shower a quick facelift, and overall, it’s a solid option if you want an immediate aesthetic upgrade without a massive renovation. Here is my honest breakdown after checking out the fit and finish. The ProsGreat Aesthetics: The matte black styling looks fantastic and immediately modernizes the bathroom.Easy Installation: Putting this together is a breeze. It’s a very simple and quick process, making it an excellent DIY project for a fast weekend update. The ConsMostly Plastic Construction: There is very little metal to be found here. While it looks high-end from a distance, it feels a bit lightweight in hand.Long-Term Durability Concerns: Because of the heavy plastic build, I suspect that a few years of daily use and routine scrubbing with bathroom cleaners might cause it to show signs of wear and tear sooner than an all-metal kit would.Overall Thoughts & VerdictIf you are looking for an affordable, sharp-looking, and painless way to refresh your bathroom's appearance, this trim kit absolutely delivers on looks and ease of installation. However, if you are looking for heavy-duty, heirloom-quality metal construction that will survive decades of rough scrubbing, you might want to adjust your expectations.Recommendation: BUY (with caveats) Buy it if you want a fast, budget-friendly cosmetic upgrade, but pass if you absolutely demand an all-metal build

Looks Great, Installs Easily, but the Separate Parts Situation Is Annoying

[Color: Matte Black]
I bought this HomGoo shower trim kit for a bathroom remodel, and my first impression was very good. It looks sharp in person. The matte black finish gives it a clean, modern look, and the 10-inch shower head has a nice, high-end feel without the high-end price tag trying to mug me in the parking lot.Installation was also easier than I expected. Everything fit the way it should, and the trim itself went on without a lot of drama. That alone deserves credit. During a remodel, even small things can suddenly decide to become emotional events. This kit did not do that. It was straightforward and simple to work with.Once installed, it looked great on the wall. The larger shower head makes the whole setup feel more updated, and the trim has a solid look that does not come off cheap or flimsy. So far, performance has been good. No complaints there. It does what it is supposed to do, and it gives the shower a much better appearance than the old setup. My only real frustration is the same one a lot of people will probably have: having to buy the cartridge and valve separately is irritating. It feels silly to order bathroom parts like you are assembling a faucet from clues. That said, I cannot blame this product for it, because the listing makes that clear right in the title. It is not a hidden surprise. I was just still annoyed by the whole process. So, as long as you know what you are buying, this is a solid trim kit. It looks good, installs easily, and has been working well so far. I would recommend it to anyone doing a bathroom update, just with the reminder to make sure you have all the other pieces lined up before you start.
