As someone who hauls music gear for a living, I put casters through punishment they were never emotionally prepared for. These 4" wheels handle the job reasonably well. They roll smoothly, the brakes bite the way they should, and the overall build feels solid enough for furniture, workbenches, and smaller road cases.What I didn’t see — and really wish I had — is a plastic seal around the bearings. That little detail goes a long way toward keeping grit, dust, and venue‑mystery‑debris out of the moving parts. Without it, long‑term durability is more of a “we’ll see” situation.The spoke‑style wheels look sharp, though they don’t inspire quite the same confidence as a solid wheel. Still, for lighter loads, they should be just fine. The included hardware is a nice gesture, but bolts are never universal — depending on your case or cart, you may end up using your own anyway.Bottom Line: Smooth‑rolling, good‑looking casters that work well for lighter gear and everyday use. A bearing seal would’ve made them even better, but they’re still a solid choice for the price.

This is a kit for 4 in caster wheels with bottom plate attacking hardware. Each well lock does double duty of locking the rotation and the swiveling. When the lock is activated, you basically have a fixed leg. The hardware makes it easy to install on plate metal or 3/4 plywood.The rolling ability is excellent and smooth. Excellent functioning. You will notice that the top bearing area can easily be cleaned with solvent and relubricated. On the same train of thought, dirt and water can easily get in as well. I would not leave these outside.The metal casters are rather thick and heavy. I gather these can support a lot on weight. One concern I have is leaving weight on these for an extended period of time could create a flat spot of the "tire". Been there and done that. Then when you use it, everything moves up and down on every rotation and it is hard to move around.2200 lbs weight capacity is mentioned. Conveniently, that is a metric ton, 1000KG. Do this seem convenient to you?The last picture shows the side view of the wheel spokes. Very stylish but not the strongest design.Also mentioned is: "100 LB LOAD CAPACITY PER CASTER: Each caster supports up to 100 lbs. For a standard set of 4, that is 400 lbs total capacity. The more casters you use, the higher the total load capacity." for all their wheels. It is really meant for the smallest of their wheels but details count.Here is my verdict, they are super affordable, almost too affordable. I do not for a second believe that weight rating and would say under 1000 lbs as an absolute ceiling. The metal will not be the part that breaks. They roll very smoothly and rotate equally well. These will be a great addition for my and your personal use to move things around if you keep your expectations reasonable.

I got these casters to put on a base for an umbrella stand so we can move it around. The stand is a cement filled planter, so we needed something heavy duty, easy to roll and lockable so it doesn’t roll away in the wind. These met all my expectations. They have a heavier, sturdier feel than I was expecting. They roll easily, even under weight, and they’re easy enough to lock. They lock both rolling and swiveling, and all 4 casters lock. So far we haven’t had any issues with the wind taking it. These seem like a great value for the price. Will most likely purchase again if we decide to make another.

This is a review for the 4 inch caster wheels. When I originally ordered them, I didn’t understand how truly heavy duty they were going to be!. I ordered them to replace the wheels on my old reliable shop deck that has really wonky casters that have given up the ghost. After receiving these wheels and seeing how incredibly heavy duty and just overall good quality, I decided not to waste them on my wonky shop vac, and I talked to my husband into fashioning me a furniture mover with them. My husband’s pretty handy and he agreed these would work well for that. I’m pretty excited about it as moving things is something I like to do as much by myself as I can with and I have a small furniture mover now that I use all the time and I think it would be nice to have one that it was a little more heavy duty.These casters definitely earned the right to call themselves ‘heavy duty’. They are a pretty hefty weight as when I picked up the box when it was delivered I couldn’t figure why it was so heavy at first. All 4 wheels has a locking mechanism on them. I have ordered casters before and they came with two that lock and two don’t. I really like this flexibility of having all of them being able to lock. The wheels are 4 inches, which is pretty large and we’ll make it easier to roll around.I don’t know what more to say about them except that I’m so impressed by how nice these casters are. The quality is definitely there. And I think if you’re looking for some 4 inch caster that you can’t go wrong with this. I would recommend maybe I’ll order some of the smaller ones for my wonky shop vac.
