This kit is awesome. It comes with pretty much every grit you could possibly need, from aggressive sanding discs all the way up to 10,000 grit, and you actually get a decent number of each instead of just one or two.It also includes multiple backing pads and polishing heads, along with different adapters so you can use everything with a drill, Dremel, die grinder, or whatever rotary tool makes the most sense for the job. Having several backing pads is especially nice because you can leave different grits or polishing pads set up instead of constantly swapping everything around.The sanding discs themselves definitely aren't 3M Cubitrons, and you can burn through them pretty quickly if you get aggressive with them. If you're using the finer grits, especially for something like headlight restoration, take your time and use water. Keeping the surface cool makes a huge difference in how long the discs last and the kind of finish you get.With a little patience, though, they work perfectly fine. Keep the speed and heat under control, work your way through the grits instead of skipping around, and you can get some really nice results with this kit. For the sheer number of discs, grits, backing pads, and adapters included, it's a really useful set to have around.

I was a little bit skeptical of what the performance might be like with these but I'm pleasantly surprised.It comes with two pads for mounting a wide variety of sanding and polishing attachments using a hook and loop attachment.Assembly is quick and easy. This kit includes 160pcs 3-inch silicon carbide sanding discs from 60 to 10000, 2pcs sponge buffer pads, 2pcs wool buffing pads, 4pcs polishing foam pads, 2pcs hook and loop backing pads and 4pcs 1/4" & 1/8" shanks. To me, this is a remarkable value.The hook and loop held the pieces well during my use of them.

With 174 pieces and grits ranging from 60 all the way up to 10,000, there’s a good selection for everything from heavier sanding and surface preparation to fine polishing and finishing work.The 3-inch size is convenient for getting into smaller areas where a larger sanding disc would be awkward. I also like having both the 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch shanks because it gives me more flexibility depending on the tool or attachment I’m using. The hook-and-loop design makes changing the sanding discs quick and easy, which saves a lot of time when moving between grits.The variety of grits is probably my favorite part. It makes the kit useful for more than just one project.
