This is pretty thick, so you will want to make sure you like the look of it. For our needs, my mom had a huge space between her tub and her wood flooring that was dry rot nightmare waiting to happen. This was a great option to not only create the barrier, but to completely cover the offending space.It was easy to apply, as long as you followed the instructions, and it sealed almost instantly. The seal is basically like concrete once it is cured, and the bumper has been able to withstand a lot of use. A perfect solution for a big problem.I have a walk in shower and it never fails that water escapes onto the floor.This is a high quality product, and comes with everything you need to install it.The instructions are simple and clear to understand, very easy to install and leaves a nice and tight water dam, by not allowing any water to leave the inside of the shower, keeping my floor nice and dry.The triangle shape of this product allows the water to run back into the shower.With the length of what is provided, I had enough to do my shower and some for my sink that splashes water onto my floor.I did order the transparent and even though it is not exactly transparent, it is more like a light milky color, it was clear enough to not look gaudy.It is very flexible so it is easy to manuever around curves.I would highly recommend this product.

I'm giving this a 5-star even though it isn't going to work for me. The not-working is all about my esthetic preferences and my failure to see that it wasn't quite suited to what I wanted to achieve. Nonetheless, it is a very good product to stop water from leaking under frameless glass shower doors. They provide everything you need, including silicone caulking, and the directions are exceptionally clear.I've included photos to show why it won't work for me. I failed to realize that the metal bracket that steadies the glass door will keep the water dam from abutting the glass in a straight line. Also, I wanted a "clear" product; in other words, a completely transparent water dam. This one is milky translucent rather than clear. The only other option was pure white and I had hoped this one would be okay, but it just doesn't provide the "invisible" look I was going for.So five stars because I can see how wonderfully this will work for other people. Just be sure it will line up with what your individual situation calls for before you buy it!

The self adhesive backing is strong and stuck well to our tile once I cleaned and dried the area properly. Installation took about 15 minutes with a utility knife and some painter’s tape to keep the line straight. It flexes around slight curves and the matte finish looks clean, not like a cheap add on. Since putting it in the floor stays dry and I’m not mopping up after every shower. It also helps with kids’ bath time because it keeps splash water in the tub.Four stars because it’s not perfect. The adhesive is very strong, which is good for staying put, but it means you need to be confident on placement the first time because repositioning is tough. The triangle profile is low enough to step over safely, but wheelchairs or walkers would have trouble, so keep that in mind for accessibility. After two months there’s a little discoloration on the silicone from shampoo and hard water, though it scrubs off with some effort. The ends can also lift slightly if you didn’t press them down hard during install.Overall this water dam is a simple, affordable fix for walk in and curbless showers that flood the bathroom. It’s durable, discreet, and keeps the floor dry without a big renovation. Just prep the surface well, press it down firmly, and give the adhesive 24 hours before getting it wet.
