It's much warmer than I expected for a shell-style jacket, and the seam seals and cuffs help keep the cold out.The fit is comfortable, and the hood adjusts easily for a secure fit. The reinforced areas and waterproof pockets are nice additions.I picked this up for an upcoming Alaska cruise, and it seems like it'll be perfect for the cold, windy conditions. This is the 2nd Navis jacket I own. This jacket is very well made and it's built to keep you dry. It has what I'd consider a medium weight, where it has some insulation, but it isn't bulky. The red color on it is bright and it has a fluorescent yellow collar/hoodie.This has a large collar on it, which can hold the hood within it. The zippers are good sized ones and they have cloth loops to grab onto. Also the zipper is in the correct orientation, with it on the right hand side. I got this in size XXL and it fits me well, it fits me like other jackets I have in this size.

This coat has everything very well thought out and made with heavy duty construction. It has a mesh lining for breathability, reflectors, deep velcro flap covered pockets outside, a zippered pocket for your phone inside, an emergency colored hood that disappears into the collar if you want, velcro flaps covering the main zipper, and an inner wrist guard that veclros closed. The inside neck collar is lined with a soft material and is extremely tall to protect the neck and chin. It all feels very waterproof. Great for fishing or any outdoor work in the rain.
