Review of Outdoor Stair Treads for Wooden Floor Non Slip Black 8”×30” 5PCSQuality:Good. Edges are smooth, profile is even across the tread. Thick and sturdy.Impressions:Nice, weighty, treads. The size is just right for our stairs and they stay in place. They shed the water well. The profile is a little shallow but it manages water nicely. Not sure how it does in snow. If there is a problem I will update as needed. The color is fine, it's a deep, shiny black that contrasts nicely.They are quite heavy so they stay in place. We haven't had them slip or move while being stepped on so there's no issue when it comes to safely.At $40 for five, they're a good value given the quality. They're really a lot sturdier than ones we've bought for the same price. If they end up being as durable as they seem, they'd be well worth the cost.

These things are AWESOME! The material is incredibly thick. The texture is grippy, so nonslip is a definite. The installation with the adhesion on the back made is super simple. I would recommend cleaning your steps before adhering the stair treads. It’ll make them stick better. They look great! Nice, dark black. My only complaint is because you only get 5 in a set. Besides that, they’re awesome!

I won't say that these tread pads don't work - they do offer a good way to prevent slippage from a wet, wooden stair, but I was very much disappointed when I opened to the box to find that there's no way to secure them to your stairs. We get a lot of windy storms in our area, and the steps to my deck take the brunt of the wind, so I wasn't going to test how well they perform without any adhesive help. I didn't want to chase them out of my neighbors yards, so I used 2 short wood screws at the top of each pad to keep them in place. I do like that I have a safer stairwell with them on it, but I'm taking away two stars for the level of my disappointment using this product. I also thought that 5 tread covers was a weak offering for the price. (I cut them in half to add stable footing to my 8 wooden stairs.)

Cleaning is easy too — a quick hose-off or wipe-down and they look good as new, no ground-in dirt lingering in the grooves.The gray color is a nice neutral that blends into most porch and step setups without looking like an obvious slapped-on safety accessory, which matters more than I expected it would. Simple to install, genuinely effective grip, and a real improvement in safety for anyone with outdoor wooden steps that turn treacherous the moment the weather turns. Solid, practical, and worth every bit of peace of mind.

We wanted to add a little extra safety to the wooden steps on our deck, and this 5-pack of outdoor stair treads worked out perfectly. Each tread measures 8" x 30" and gives the stairs a much more finished, professional appearance while providing excellent traction.The treads are made from a thick, flexible PVC material with a deep textured, non-slip surface that should provide added stability in both wet and dry weather. Instead of using adhesive, I installed mine with heavy-duty black PVC screws. I simply positioned each tread on the step, drilled two holes on each end, and secured them with flat-head screws. The installation was quick, and they feel very solid.Another feature I appreciate is how easy they are to maintain. When they get dirty, I can simply spray them off with the garden hose, and they look great again. If you're looking for an attractive, durable, low-maintenance way to help reduce slips on outdoor wooden steps, I think these stair treads are an excellent choice.

I just put a wood ramp floor down for my mother and needed something reliably anti-slip. I originally ordered grip tape but never got around to installing it before I found these textured PVC treads.Comparing the two options made the decision easy.The wide, rubber-like PVC surface handles outdoor moisture and stops shoes from sliding far better than narrow grip strips. Plus it's has Full-Foot Traction.The Anti-slip adhesive tape is far too abrasive and narrow for a ramp, running the risk of catching a toe and causing a fall on a slope. And my end goal is to Avoiding Trip Hazards...The Final Choice: Skipping the tape in favor of these PVC treads provided a secure stable walking path with full-foot traction.I hope you found my review helpful 🤗
