So far i love these connectors. Super easy to use, no stripping of the wire no crimping. If you use the correct gauge (i obviously tried a wrong wire), it fits perfectly, and all you need to do is squeeze the top.In the beginning i didn’t realize there is a + marking on the connector, so i was trying to make sure i place the wire in the correct slot. Once i realized its there, it made it even easier.Im not sure if these are waterproof. I used them on a auto project, where everything is exposed to elements. To be honest they dont look waterproof, so im hoping i dont find out the hard way when all my equipment is shorted out. Other than that, these are great

Great little kit for occasional DIY repairs!

[Size: 40PCS (20pcs for 16-18AWG+20pcs for 18-22AWG)]
As a layman who only needs wire connectors like these every once in a while, this set worked out great for me. I mostly need them for occasional small repairs, like when my dog chewed through some cables. This kit allowed me to reconnect the wires securely and get things working again.I did still need other basic tools, like wire cutters and wire strippers, but these connectors made the actual repair much cleaner and easier. They are definitely a big improvement over the electrical tape method I had been using before. The connections feel neater, more secure, and more reliable. With 40 pieces included, I will probably have all the wire connectors I’ll ever need for small repairs around the house. For around $13, I think this is a great value and a very handy kit to keep on hand.

Super handy for quick wiring jobs

Super handy for quick wiring jobs★★★★★These little connectors actually saved me a ton of time on a low voltage project I was doing. No stripping wires is a big plus, makes things way faster.I used them on a few LED strips and some small wiring under cabinets and they held tight without any issues so far. Connection feels solid once you snap them in.I like that it comes with two different sizes, makes it easier to match whatever wire you're working with instead of guessing.Only thing is they’re pretty small so you gotta be careful not to lose them lol. But overall they work just like they should and make wiring less of a headache.

Quick wire connectors

[Size: 40PCS (20pcs for 16-18AWG+20pcs for 18-22AWG)]
In a pinch, these are a quick option for connecting wires. I think some limitations are connecting larger gauge wires to smaller ones; a step down butt connector would be more appropriate. However if you make sure the clip bites on the insulation, this clip can work. I would tug on it afterwards to make sure it’s actually secure. These seem to be identical to another set of connectors I tried. You’ll want to use some pliers to make sure the clips fully click into place. So these are great if the wires are the right size. I’d suggest securing the finished connections with tape or even using a loop in the wire to eliminate any tension that can separate the connection.

Quick and simple way to connect pairs of wires

[Size: 40PCS (20pcs for 16-18AWG+20pcs for 18-22AWG)]
I've generally used either heat shrink solder connectors or the crimp-on spade connectors for attaching wires. I decided to try these as a hopefully simpler option for pairs of wires (mainly power supplies) because they keep the two wires together and thus keep things a bit more organized.I tested one of the large connectors, with its smallest supported wire, 18 gauge. It was stranded wire. The connection was satisfyingly easy: Slide in the wires, tighten gently with some pliers until the holding tab clicked in place, then pressing together the two halves. I tested continuity with a multimeter. Everything was working fine and there was no increased resistance. I noticed these could be reused by opening the tabs and pulling out the wires; however, once the two halves are connected, there's no obvious way to get them apart.Compared with the heat shrink connections that I normally use: These are much simpler than the heat shrink connectors as there's no need to strip wires or find the heat gun. They are larger than those connections. They also keep the wires together, reducing the need for shrink tubing or electrical tape to keep things organized.Compared to spade connectors: These are also much simpler to install and keep the wires close together. The only advantage of the spade connectors are that they aren't permanent. For example, they let you swap a power supply around to different projects.Overall, these are a convenient, secure, and simple way to connect pairs of wires.

Simple to use, some flaps hard to openSimple to use, some flaps hard to open

[Size: 40PCS (20pcs for 16-18AWG+20pcs for 18-22AWG), Size: 40PCS (20pcs for 16-18AWG+20pcs for 18-22AWG)]
Some of the flaps can be difficult to get opened. From there though these connectors are easy to use. Just stick in the non stripped low voltage wiring and push the flap closed. The wire will be pierced by the metal fittings. Do the same on the second set of wires and then push the connectos together and you are done. Definitely well suited for DIY low voltage/light wire projects.

Well built but causes excessive damage to conductors.

[Size: 40PCS (20pcs for 16-18AWG+20pcs for 18-22AWG)]
This review is for the AceAcr 40 PCS Quick Wire Connectors Double Wire Plug in Connector. ASIN: B0GYS7XGWJI wanted a small, two conductor wire connector when putting together a battery box for HAM radio POTA (Parks on the Air) activations. This battery box uses 16ga write for some small white and green LED illumination lights. APP connectors are too large and very expensive. I don’t like wire nuts, they can come loose. Waygo connectors are secure, but expensive. I decided to give these a try because they were a small form factor. The two sides fit together somewhat like an Anderson Power Pole. I first tried the 16-18ga connector.I pulled out my old FLUKE 73 VOM, and the two sides are electrically isolated from one another and show low resistance. This connector uses the “slit” method of connecting to the wire conductors, rather than the “spike” or “pin” method. The ends do “lock” in place with a faint click, and act as a strain relief for the correct size conductor jacket. Looking at the interior, I am worried that the gap slit in the contact is much narrower than necessary, actually cutting the copper strands instead of just piercing the jacket. Carefully removing a 16ga wire from the BLACK connector confirmed that approx 50% of the conductor strands were sheared off. I tried to open the slit using a razor knife, but the unit is well enough made that I really could not do much to open the gap. I find this amount of damage to the 16ga. conductor to be unacceptable. I did not try the 18-22AWG connector. While this is a great idea, and the unit is well thought out and well made, the conductor damage at 16ga. is too great for me to recommend this connector.
