I am always tinkering with some DIY project around the house, so I was excited when I came across these BMOTL 5-inch Film Sanding Discs. This set includes a nice selection of different grits, which is great to have on hand for a variety of sanding jobs.The hook-and-loop backing sticks securely to my sander just like the name-brand discs I have used, so I had no issues getting them attached or keeping them in place while sanding. I also like that the grit number is conveniently printed on the hook-and-loop side, making it easy to identify the disc I need. My only suggestion would be to color-code the sanding side as well, just in case the printed grit numbers eventually wear off.Overall, these discs seem to offer good quality and performance at a nice value. Based on the quality, selection, and price, I give these 5 stars.

I ordered this set because I typically don't use power tools for fine/detail sanding, and instead do that kind of work with a sanding block, or even more commonly - my bare hand. I've been skepical in the past if you can get a fine finish using an oscillating power tool, regardless of how fine of a grit sandpaper you may have attached to it.That being said, I'm surprised by how much I like this selection of fine-grit sandpapers. I ordered the set of 400-2000, which has 10 each of the coarsest grits, and 20 each of the rest of the grits up to 2000. I primarily do woodworking and I tried these out with my orbital DeWalt 5" sander, which they fit well, with a slight (maybe 1/8") protrusion in each direction from the backer. I was immediately impressed with the results on my workbench top --- these smoothed out the already smooth surface without leaving gouges or deep cuts. This method is obviously significantly quicker than doing such a task by hand. I was also surprised/pleased to find that the sandpaper didn't immediately clog on my butcher-block style maple work surface, so these seem to have some longevity to them.The backing is a good quality fabric weave, the sheets are clearly marked, and the sanding surface seems to be evenly applied with only the slightest-perceptible wavy/variation where the adhesive was thicker/thinner in alternating rows. While top-tier sandpaper may not have this anomaly, I think it is unlikely to affect performance on an oscillating tool anyway, and the value proposition of this set is also much higher.This set has a nice variety of grits that should get you from finishing to fine detailing. These grits should also be useful on plastics or metal, so this is a pretty versatile set. If you're feeling lazy or want to save some time, I'd give this set a try
