The finish is absolutely beautiful and adds a wonderful modern rustic touch to the room. However, the installation process did require a fair amount of patience. Because of the sleek flush mount design, the ceiling housing is quite tight. Tucking all the necessary wiring and the smart receiver into that small canopy took some extra time and careful maneuvering to get everything to fit properly without pinching any cables.Once the fan is finally mounted, the performance is excellent. The sleek, low profile design looks amazing on the ceiling, and the 6 speed motor moves a ton of air while remaining incredibly quiet, even on the highest settings. The dimmable light and the physical remote control work perfectly every time. However, the smart features were a bit finicky during my testing. Pairing the fan with the app and voice controls took a few tries, and the connection occasionally drops and I have to reopen the app, which is something to keep in mind if you plan to rely solely on your smartphone to control it.Overall this ceiling fan is a solid and highly attractive upgrade for a bedroom or living room. It delivers great airflow, a beautiful design, and helpful modern conveniences all in one package. While the tedious wiring process and the slightly inconsistent app connectivity hold it back from a perfect five star rating, the stunning look and whisper quiet operation make it a worthwhile addition to your home. I installed this 52-inch wooden ceiling fan with lights in my son's aviation-themed bedroom, and it turned out even better than I expected. The modern design with the solid walnut wood blades fits the room perfectly and gives it a clean, high-end look. It looks much more expensive than it actually is, and several people have already commented on how nice it looks.Installation was straightforward and easy to follow. Everything fit together well, and I had it installed without any issues. Once it was up and running, I was immediately impressed with the build quality. The materials feel solid, the finish is excellent, and the fan seems like it will provide years of reliable service.The fan is incredibly quiet, even at higher speeds. You barely hear the motor running, making it perfect for a child's bedroom where quiet operation is important during naps and at night. It moves a surprising amount of air, and the six speed settings make it easy to find the perfect airflow, whether you want a gentle breeze or maximum cooling.The integrated LED light is another feature I really like. I have replaced most of the ceiling fans in my house along with multiple canned and bay lights. The process is simple: Assemble. Connect three wires. Mount. It really shouldn't take a lot of thought or time.This fan proved to be an exception.I will start by pointing out the instructions are woefully inadequate. Many of the parts are not labeled, unclear, or misidentified in the photos and diagrams of the instructions. Because of this, it will take some trial and error to make sure everything is assembled correctly.Next, if you are ceiling mounting the fan to an existing junction box (as I imaging would be the most common use case), the fan does not include any of the mounting hardware. Worse, the mounting bracket that mounts to the junction box and holds the fan to the ceiling, is slightly too small for the standard U.S. junction box. The screw alignment is slightly wider, so a secure installation will require some improvisation. For my installation, I was fortunate to have a ceiling joist I could mount into just outside the junction box (in fact, it is what the box itself is attached to.With the fan assembled, the wires connected, and the configuration set for the shortest down rod option (there is no flush mount), it quickly became apparent that the final mounting screw mounts for the cover are nearly impossible to get seated. The screws are barely the height of the cover, so unscrewing them enough to get the cover on means the screws fall out of their holes. Reseating them is also pain as there is not much room and less visibility with the short rod, so you pretty much need to do it by feel. For me, it took longer to get the cover on than it did to assemble and install the entire fan.One last note on installation, unlike most fans I have installed, this fan does not have a safety cable should the fan come loose of its mount. The fan is lightweight, but as a safety issue, it still gave me some concern. Enough so that I made sure to add extra screws to the joist to over-secure the mount to the ceiling.In terms of materials, the metal covers and flanges aren't the greatest. They're thin and can be easily bent if you try to force them into place during installation. Similarly, the light dome is a flimsy plastic that bow and depress without much pressure. You will want to be mindful of this and protect it during assembly making sure not to rest the weight of the fan on the dome.All this being said, it might be surprising that I still give the fan four stars. Truth be told, once I go past all the installation headaches and no longer had to worry about damaging the cheaper parts, the fan looks extremely nice on the ceiling. We had a nicer quality Hunter Douglas fan that we didn't like the look of and would tick during operation due to age. This fan is whisper quiet... I mean like super quiet. You can hardly hear it. It also moves air very well. We have running clockwise which pulls the heat up and bounces air off the ceiling. The result is a nice constant breeze that feels cool without drying your eyes or feeling like you're in a wind storm. Reversing the fan gives more of a direct wind, so I'm pretty sure we'll be keeping it as is.The walnut propeller-style blades are quite attractive with a design that feels modern, yet inspired from another area. The internal LED ring is bright and even - it actually makes the cheapness of the dome seem less cheap. Plus it's nice that you can easily choose your color temperature and intensity.The remote is also very handy - so much so that I didn't really see any reason to download the app. I'm a little wary about once-off apps that control single IOT devices. Unless you REALLY have a need for voice control, I'd recommend simply using the remote. It's just as easy and more secure.So while there are aspects of this lamp that I'm less-than-thrilled with, overall, it ended-up being a welcome addition to our house. It looks beautiful and there is no denying the superior operation.

This ceiling fan looks great and works very well. It runs quietly, provides good airflow, and the light is bright enough for the room. The wooden design gives it a modern and elegant appearance, and the remote control makes it very convenient to operate. I’m very happy with the purchase and would recommend it.

Since Standle is not a known brand, I really was not sure what to expect from this fan. And because it is a huge investment in not only buying the ceiling fan but having it installed, before I ordered the fan, I read a few of the other reviews. And since they all seemed to be really good, I took a chance and went ahead and ordered it. And I am really glad I did because the quality really did end up being great. The fan first arrived in professional packaging, which I took a picture of so you could see. And as soon as I took the parts out of the box and felt them in my hands, I could clearly tell the metal hardware and wooden propellers were premium quality. Nothing felt light or cheap at all, but instead all the parts had a sturdy weight and feel to them. And the dark walnut wood and black hardware really did look beautiful and like a premium, high-end ceiling fan.So, before I even started setting up and installing the ceiling fan, I was really happy with the quality of the materials. But after I got it set up and running, I became even more happy and satisfied with the purchase because it performed great. You can tell it has a quality motor because it seems like it moves effortlessly and produces barely any sound, even on its highest setting. And the propellers are clearly designed well because the airflow is great on all of the speed settings.You also have 3 options to control the fan and light. You can use the remote that it comes with. Or you can download and use the app, which has a real simple and easy-to-use interface. Or you can connect it to Alexa or Google. And not only can you control the fan speed, but you can also dim the light.The fan did arrive disassembled, but that’s the case with any ceiling fan you buy, even from a big-box retailer. But it came with clear instructions and was super easy to set up. And installing and hardwiring it is exactly the same as installing a light fixture. Even mid-range ceiling fans at this size are over double the price of this one. So, $180 for a 72-inch ceiling fan that not only looks and feels like premium quality but also performs like one as well is a really great deal. I am so glad I took a chance on it, and I would highly recommend it.

I had an old-style ceiling fan in my dining room that was starting to show its age. It had pull-type metal string chains to turn on the light and fan. I wanted something more stylish without the pull strings. This fan is larger than my old one and has a modern look that really enhances my dining area.I had this fan professionally installed and my electrician was really impressed with the look and quality of this device. In fact, he personally gave it a 9.8 out of 10 for looks and performance. He did mention something that might be helpful to others when installing this fan. On the main mounting bracket, the manufacturers connected a small wire harness that is used with certain installations. If you have existing wiring this connector isn’t needed so it should be removed before you mount the bracket to the ceiling box.The fan offers three types of driving rods in various sizes. There are 5”, 10” or 15” options. These rods control how low the fan hangs from the ceiling. Since mine was in the dining area, the 5” was perfect. The fan can be mounted on a variety of ceiling styles and heights so the 10” or 15” might be a better fit and your home. The fan comes together easily with the blades attaching to the drive mechanism with several bolts. Other screws and bolts are included for the ceiling box connections.The fan features a nice variety of speeds from slow rotation to a fast option that fills the entire room with a solid breeze. There are several speed options in between. The light can be adjusted from a soft intimate hue to very bright, again with several other intensity options available. There are several color options as well.Both the light and fan are controlled by a simple remote control. I found the battery cover on the remote very hard to open. I had to insert a small screwdriver to carefully pry it open, but this wasn’t a big deal. Batteries are not included so you’ll need 2 AAA sizes to get it to work. I was very pleased that the remote was automatically paired to the fan, so as soon as the batteries were in it worked. I’ve had other fans that required searching for frequencies to match (A real pain) but this one started working immediately. I don't have Alexa so I don't know how that set-up and connection works.I’m very happy with the look and performance of this fan and my electrician was also impressed. He did say it took a little longer to install than lesser quality fans but it was well worth it for the end result.
