The light and the blades themself are definitely the cheap aspect odf this. It just disn't lead me to believe that it would hold up for the long haul, so I returned it. Not a bad price for a fan, but I didn't want to risk having to install another down the road. The 4 ft seemed extremely small as well.

This ceiling fan is great. My ceiling is about 9’ tall and the air is great. I keep it on 3 the highest 4 because 5 and 6 speeds are too much. Not complaining at all. The fan is great. I like the fact that you can choose the light color and blades color as well. The best part is that it has a timer and the light and fan buttons are separate. Don’t hesitate to buy. 100% recommend it.

This Fan was easy to install and works well until you get a power bump. Because it is a DC motor and can only be started by using a remote, every time there is a power bump ,you have to restart it with the remote. It will not come back on by itself once the power has been restored. Due to storms and high heat advisories for my area, I have had to restart it 8-times in the last two weeks. If you need something more reliable to restart when you are gone then I cannot recommend this.
