This tool worked surprisingly well. I was unsure whether the suction would hold on my textured laminate flooring, so I was glad it included sticky pads. In the end, the suction alone—helped by the included mallet—was enough to pull the plank back into place and eliminate the gap. Considering that professional repair quotes ranged from $200 to $500, this was a far more cost‑effective solution.

Worked great to close some gaps on a floating floor I have. Just make sure that your floor is floating and not nailed down. This can only help shift individual pieces that aren’t individually secured. But if your floor is just a stack of Tetris pieces with no nails, you’re in luck.Stick it down, give it a whack, watch everything slide into place. Comes with all the pieces you’ll need including a mallet. It’s a nice and heavy piece of machinery that is easy to use. Seems durable enough for something that you whack with a hammer. Great value for fixing someone else’s (of course they aren’t YOURS) install mistakes.
