I got these landscape lights because apparently having perfectly good trees in the yard wasn’t enough. Now the trees need stage lighting. And I have to admit… they look REALLY good.These are much brighter and more substantial than the little landscape lights that basically whisper, “There might be a shrub over here.” They actually throw enough light to illuminate a good-sized tree, and the warm white color looks classy instead of making my yard look like a convenience store parking lot.I aimed them upward into the trees, and at night it completely changes the look of the yard. Suddenly my regular Virginia trees look like they belong outside a ridiculously expensive house in a landscaping commercial.They’re adjustable, sturdy, and the wide beam spreads the light nicely instead of creating one weird spotlight that makes the tree look like it’s being interrogated.They are definitely pricier than some landscape lights, but these actually LOOK like real landscape lighting.Now I just need to resist the urge to keep adding them. Because this started with “I want to light up a couple of trees.” And I already know how this ends. My entire yard visible from space.

Well built and designed solid brass Par 36 bulb fixture. The 10W low voltage lamp is perfect for lighting signage, larger wall or house fronts. With over 800 lumens it covers a broad area as compared to typical flood light fixtures. The fixture has a screw type closure, double seals and a user replaceable bulb. Additionally the stake has a split opening to prevent line tangling when assembling. The lead line is almost 4’ long allowing for tie off to main line plus room to move the fixture after initial placement. Exactly the type of product I want in my landscape lighting business designs and installations. Overall high quality, easy to install, affordable and built to last!

Low voltage landscape lighting is an easy way to transform the exterior of your house at night. You'll need a transformer to convert your mains 120v AC into 12v AC/DC which these lights require. The great advantage with low voltage lighting is that you can run low voltage cable across your yard however you like - it doesn't need to be buried deep or in conduit as there is no chance of electrocution or shock. I just use a spade to open up a 6-8 inch deep channel in my lawn, just wide enough to push the cable into it, and then stamp the grass down. This should be deep enough to avoid damage when mowing, aerating etc. You can easily run a couple of hundred feet of cable like this in an hour or so.Low voltage doesn't mean low brightness. These lights are very bright, and will easily illuminate the side of a house, a tree or a large bush. These lights are wide angle which makes them good for illuminating a wide area like a tree or wall. If you're trying to illuminate a smaller shrub you'll probably want a floodlight with a narrower beam. These are "warm white" which is a slightly yellow color - my prefered choice for all my landscape lighting.These feel very sturdy. The light itself is cast aluminum and feels very solid. There is a plastic stake that screws onto the light to anchor it into the ground - this feels less durable than the light itself - its a shame they didn't make this from aluminum too, but I know that would add to the price. You can easily change the angle of the light by loosening the nut at the neck, changing the angle and then re-tightening.These have a bulb rather than a hardwired LED so it can be changed if it fails (though these LED bulbs have a very long life). These are a great way to get started with landscape lighting.

I don’t have a real review yet as I am trying to design my yard. Something the details sort of lack is the throw angles of the lights. I have 3 x 200+ year old Live Oak Trees and attempting to do them justice with a combination of spots on the trunks and Floods on the canopy.Here is a photo between flood vs spot
