Good quality with a nice case to keep together and organized

Very nice collection of sizes. Quick changeover and ease of use. I highly recommend this item for anyone’s toolbox. I did not expect to get wowed by a hole saw set, but I am. I have used a lot of cheap hole saws (harbor freight quality) and bought more expensive Milwaukee hole saws individually as I needed them for special projects. They all have the same issue that you have to change and attach the hole saws with little wrenches and then you have to disassemble them and use screw drivers in the side/heat dissipation slots to get the wooden plug out. This set is fantastic, it is very quick, easy and does not need any tools to change the hole saws. The mandrel which holds the drill bit has a collar which you pull back (see end of my attached video). Pulling the collar back allows three sprung hinged teeth to retract. Put the hole saw size of your choice on, line up the three holes in the hole saw with the three teeth in the mandrel and release the collar. Quick, simple and secure.

I was not expecting much when I ordered this hole saw set but I was genuinely surprised once I started to use it. The materials these are made out of feel very robust and sharp. The holes I cut with them felt just as clean as any Milwaukee or Diable hole saw I've ever used. To be clear they don't last a very long time, but I've never found a hole saw from any brand that can withstand the heat and abuse that these things are put through, so I'd rather just buy a slightly more affordable one than spend 3 or 4 times the price on the expensive name brand ones. The quick change arbor is fairly well designed and I didn't find the hole saws getting fused with the arbor like I do with a lot of cheaper hole saw kits. It's definitely not as effective as say a diablo snap lock but it gets the job done. The spring is a bit of a gimmick but it does help a bit with ejecting the cookies. This kit is fairly extensive and has pretty much every ordinary sized hole you would ever need. It comes in a nice storage case that's easy to carry around. These aren't the most durable saws in the world or the most premium feature laden ones, but it's really hard to beat them for the price. They're more than capable of getting the vast majority of jobs done and they're the most affordable hole saws on the market. If you're an electrician or something and you're going to be repeatedly using these all day every day, probably spend some more and get a name brand, but the vast majority of people using hole saws are just doing it to drill a few holes per a blade at most and then packing them away in storage. These are an absolutely fantastic set of hole saws for people like that.

This hole saw kit has both good and bad aspects. The good aspects are that it is made of good quality metal. The shank, drill bit, spring, and set screw are all solid and good quality. The cutting blade is lesser quality but good enough for medium duty work. It struggles with hard wood but composit doors, soft wood, sheet rock, and similar materials are easily cut.The bad aspects. There are no assembly instructions of any kind and it would be helpful since the spring needs to be inserted from one side of the drill bit only and in one direction only. It CAN be installed incorrectly. The device has an unusual feature to secure the cutting blade to the shank however I found it to be cumbersome and has loose movement that cant be tightened. There is no plastic carry case so all of the individual parts will be difficult to keep together and will be easily lost.Overall it will get the job done, is decent quality and ok value for money but need to be better designed.

For review is the 15 piece hole saw set from GEiNXURN.Only tested these on wood as I use a different set of tools when dealing with light weight metal sheet. They worked well, drilled (sawed, I guess is more accurate) relatively quickly, and produced a nice smooth hole. Two mandrels are provided in the kit, the smaller one for sizes 5/8" to 1-1/8" and the larger mandrel with locking lugs for the 1-1/4" to 3".The case is average (decent quality) that should last the life of the tools that it holds. The two locking clasps pull open from the top half of the case instead of opening from the bottom. Threw me off for a moment.I did however, spend far too much time trying to figure out the significance or purpose of the three different colors of saw blades. Nothing to do with the mandrel used, nothing to do with the materials it should cut, nothing to do with anything as far as I can tell. I probably should have dismissed the colorful assortment of saw blades as just a cutesy marketing gimmick and left it at that. The 15 piece set is currently selling for $39 USD. A reasonable price for the product in my opinion. Nothing in this set stood out as above average, but nothing was bad either. Overall an average set of hole saws suited for general woodworking and maybe some light soft metal jobs.

Just received this today. I needed a 2.5” hole saw and this set was not much more than some individual hole saws at the 2.5” size. I used it to drill a hole in a kitchen cabinet to pull the fridge power cable through and plug it into an Anker Solix power generator. The saws are pretty heavy duty and have a spring mechanism that you can use that pushes the cut wood out of the hole saw (if you have had to work the part drilled out manually before…you will appreciate the spring!). Pretty neat. If you ask a question here about how to use the spring, there is a procedure that explains it. All in all…a very nice set.

Opening the packing you will find a very nice storage box containing a 12-piece hole saw kit with a couple of mandrels, a couple of springs and a hex wrench. The kit contains hole saws from 5/8” to 3” diameter cutters. The cutters are nicely colored in three groups:1. Yellow hole saws (5/8”, 3/4”, 7/8”, 1”) which use the 3/8” hole mandrel.2. Red hole saws (1-1/8”, 1-1/4”, 1-3/8”, 1-1/2”, 1-3/4”, 2”) which use the 7/16” hole saw mandrel.3. Green hole saws (2-1/2”, 3”) which also use the 7/16” hole saws mandrel. If you look at the center of the hole saws you can see that the bottom of the hole saws are reinforced, unlike many of the stamped hole saw sets. The hole saws are bi-metallic with layered high steel and have larger sharper teeth for faster cutting. The hole saws have a shark pattern design for easier core removal and to reduce heat build up during cutting. These cutters are good for both professional and DIY casual users for woodworking, PVC, plastic, drywall , thin metals, brass and aluminum. These cutters are heavy and made to last. Quality design and easy to set up. Well worth the price for the quality you get. Very nicely organized in a nice case so you can easily keep everything in one place. A quality set to keep in you tool inventory. For a complete set you might want to investigate the 4”-6” hole saws sold by GEiNXURN. A set I would recommend without any reservation.***** Five stars - Exceeded my expectations. I really love it!**** Four stars - Met my expectations.
