I ordered this JYV Outdoor wall light to use by our grill area instead of one of those commercial looking task lights. This provides a good deal of up and down light and looks amazing on the patio. Installation was okay provided you keep the mounting plate exactly straight. There is no adjustment available. Another minor issue is that this uses integrated LED's instead of screw in bulbs, so you are not able to adjust the light color or look by changing bulbs. You get what you get. For us, it's exactly what we wanted as I don't want a spot light --just some light that also looks nice. I find this to be a great value.

This square up and down outdoor wall light has a fantastic modern look that completely upgraded the exterior of my house. The JYV outdoor wall light system is sleek and fashionable. It brightens our walkway for safety. It was easy to install and the mount was sturdy. This is a beautiful addition to your porch lights that I promise you that you will not regret making the purchase! The light itself emits from top and bottom and creates a gorgeous ambiance that does not blind you when you walk up to your door at night. It's very comforting not having to squint your eyes or hold up your hand to block out the intensity of other porch lights that are open in the middle. I had a hardwired light set up outside and it took me an average 20 min to have everything swapped out and finished. It's well built and sturdy. It has the water resistance that is very much needed for when it rains and it's been raining every day for 3 weeks straight. I have had no flickering or shortages. There is no rust or damage to the wires. I get compliments on it every time someone comes over and they love how elegant it looks against my brick wall. I couldn't be happier with this product and it is an excellent value for your money!

I think this outdoor up-and-down wall light is an excellent bargain for the price. It has a clean, modern design that instantly updates the look of an exterior without costing a fortune. The black finish looks great against my dark brown and gray house, adding a contemporary touch while still complementing the character of an older home.The light output isn’t the brightest you’ll ever find, but I think it’s very appropriate for a porch or entryway. I included one photo taken around 8:30 p.m. when it was just starting to get dark and another taken around 11:00 p.m. in full darkness. As you can see, it does a nice job of illuminating the small porch beneath it and the immediate surrounding area, making it plenty useful for everyday use.I actually think this style would look even more impressive on a larger, more open wall where the up-lighting and down-lighting can really be appreciated. Even so, I’m very happy with how it looks on my house.My son is currently remodeling his home, and after seeing this light, I think I’ll probably be picking up two or three more for him—two for the front porch and one for the back.
