This was a gift for my son. He loves them. He said they retract smoothly and are ready to use. He said they feel sturdy made of quality materials. It was nice to be able to get 4 straps for less than the price of 2 from other competitors. So they are a great value. The ratcheting moment is smooth and easy. Great buy.

You get what you pay for!

Work just as they should. I have had several sets of these over the years, I ordered some a few weeks ago on Amazon that were less expensive that these.....they were totally junk and did not automatically retract. These work perfectly and retract as they should. Spend a bit more a you'll be happy.
