This is now my favorite hard hatThis is now my favorite hard hat

[Color: White Hard Hat with Clear Visor, Color: White Hard Hat with Clear Visor]
I got this hard hat because in the construction world, they are all moving to this kind of hard hat. They tend to cost much more than the traditional hard hats, but this one is pretty moderately priced. I am happy to get it. This one has a number of advantages. First of all, the harness system is robust and more comfortable than others I have tried. The straps seem thicker and are way more comfortable. The adjustment system is robust as well and permits a good fit, just like my usual hard hat. This one also comes with a visor, which is better for something to shade some safety glasses, not as a safety glass. Or for my use, for occasional use on the jobsite. I like the venting on the helmet, I find it good enough, but the harness system is really what sold the helmet for me.

Quite well-made hard hat

[Color: Black Hard Hat with Clear Visor]
This is a rated hard hat with a drop-down visor. It fits my head -barely- and does a decent job of keeping my head cool while wearing it. The visor is a neat addition, but is definitely NOT a replacement for proper safety glasses: There are giant gaps on the sides that would allow flying debris direct entry to your eyeballs. This is more a crash shield than safety glasses. No idea on whether the rating is legit, because I haven't dropped a brick on my head from 20 feet and seen if I survived. It seems very sturdy though. The padding inside is pretty firm but seems like it would absorb shock well. The straps are complex, but I guess this is required for this sort of helmet, since it needs to properly secure on your head and not get knocked off if you fall or get hit with something. Not the most comfortable thing I've ever worn, but I have a fat head and neck and this is causing my trouble. Looking around worksites, it seems a lot of guys there would run into the same issue though, so they definitely could make this in a larger size and not be wrong.Overall, except for perhaps running a little small, this is a great hard hat / helmet that will keep your head safe for any reasonable impacts. The price is very reasonable as well; I've seen safety equipment in the store for a LOT more than this at the same apparent quality, so it's worth the price for sure.

This is s pretty nice helmet. It can clearly take a hit. It almost seems more like a bike helmet than a construction helmet in design. Unfortunately it only gets so big, and barely fit my big head. I wear a size 8 hat, and I think this goes to about 7 3/4". The drop down eye shield is a great feature for outdoor work like chain sawing. Just need a little more room for big headed folks.

[Color: Black Hard Hat with Clear Visor, Color: Black Hard Hat with Clear Visor]
This is a substantial safety helmet that feels much more robust than the basic hard hats I’ve used in the past. The Type 2 design provides side-impact protection, and the EPS foam lining gives it a more secure and protective feel than a traditional suspension-only hard hat.One of my favorite features is the integrated visor. It’s convenient to have eye protection built right into the helmet instead of needing to keep up with separate safety glasses. The visor moves smoothly and stays where it’s positioned, making it easy to deploy when needed and tuck away when not in use.The adjustable chin strap helps keep the helmet secure, and the fit system allows for a comfortable adjustment. Once properly fitted, it feels stable on the head without excessive shifting or wobbling. The vented design is another plus, especially for warmer weather or extended wear. Safety gear can get hot quickly, so the added airflow is appreciated. The reflective accents also increase visibility, which is a nice touch for work environments with vehicle traffic or low-light conditions.Build quality appears good overall. The shell feels sturdy, the adjustment points operate smoothly, and the visor is clear without noticeable distortion. At $69.99, this is more expensive than a basic hard hat, but it offers several upgraded features including the Type 2 protection, foam lining, integrated visor, adjustable fit system, and chin strap. For those who need a modern safety helmet for construction, utility work, climbing, or similar applications, it offers a lot more functionality than a standard hard hat.

love the hat

[Color: White Hard Hat with Clear Visor]
I’ve been using this Type 2 safety helmet on job sites, and it’s a noticeable upgrade over standard basic hard hats in both comfort and coverage. The 360° impact protection is the main highlight. The ABS shell feels solid and well-built, and the EPS foam liner adds a reassuring layer of shock absorption. It covers not just top impacts but also side and rear protection, which is important in environments where falling debris or lateral contact can happen. The integrated retractable visor is very practical. Instead of dealing with separate safety glasses that fog up or slip, the built-in shield is easy to slide up or down depending on the task. The option between clear and tinted versions is useful for switching between indoor and outdoor work conditions, especially when glare or dust is an issue.Ventilation is another strong point. The airflow ports actually make a difference during long shifts, helping reduce heat buildup inside the helmet. It feels more breathable than traditional non-vented hard hats, especially in warmer conditions where comfort becomes a real factor. The fit system is well designed. The adjustable ratchet dial makes it easy to get a secure fit, and the chin strap keeps the helmet stable during movement or overhead work. Even when bending, climbing, or working at different angles, it stays firmly in place without shifting. The accessory compatibility adds extra value. Being able to attach earmuffs, headlamps, or other jobsite gear makes it adaptable for different trades and working conditions. It’s especially useful for electricians, construction workers, and industrial inspections where multiple tools are often needed.

Stylish but very well made

[Color: White Hard Hat with Clear Visor]
This hard hat was perfect for my needs. I wanted one i could wear when on my boomlift. Super comfortable and doesn't weigh too much, yet is incredibly durable and protective. Passes safety ratings, looks very good, and has plenty of room for personal stickers. Affordable pricing, too. These are a lot more stylish than most hard hats these days!

Great HelmetGreat Helmet

[Color: Black Hard Hat with Clear Visor, Color: Black Hard Hat with Clear Visor]
We work 12 hour days so comfort and safety mean everything. This Aolamegs helmet meets our needs perfectly!1. It is COMFORTABLE - it can be worn all day long. It has cushioning so there is no hard plastic resting on my scalp. VERY comfortable. It also has side vents to keep air circulating through the helmet to ensure that I don't become a sweaty mess! Awesome! Keeps my head cool. In the winter I can close the vents to keep warm.2. It meets SAFETY standards! It meets ANSI Z89.1 safety standards and is a Type 2 helmet. That is what I need to be OSHA compliant on our job. I like that it provides me with the safety needed to do the job. It also has an impact resistant visor that can be lifted up or flipped down. That visor gives me added protection for my eyes when working. That it wraps around is great! Excellent visibility and protection.3. Adjustable. It is easy to adjust the fit around the head with one hand wheel adjustment in the rear and one hand visor adjustment as well. That means I can custom fit it to my needs daily. LOVE THAT. I can wear ear protection or ear muffs comfortably with it, I can add a face shield if required, and I can also add a pen holder or even a head lamp - this helmet can do it all!A great value!

Good hard hat.

[Color: White Hard Hat with Clear Visor]
This is the second hard hat ive ordered from this company and i can say that is one is nearly as good as the other one but not quite. The buckle and strap on this hard hat has kind of an awkward design to it. I prefer the other design that has the leather strap integrated into the design of it. Also unbuckling was easier in the other design. As for the rest of the hard hat, it seems very comfortable to wear for long periods and is in many ways a great hard hat. I like that this hardhat provides protection from more angles than a typical hard hat.The adjustable vents is kind of cool. It lets you open and close them so you can control the amount of airflow you get.
