Clamps secure and doesn't scratch your roof rack or truck bed

[Number of Items: 2]
Tool mounts usually mean either rubber that deteriorates in sun or metal that slides around under bumpy terrain. This one uses a reinforced metal bracket with quality rubber clamps that grip without slipping, and the adjustable tie-downs keep shovels, axes, and tools locked in place through rough roads. After weeks of off-road use, the rubber hasn't cracked or loosened and the metal bracket shows zero rust or corrosion. The grip is firm enough that nothing shifts even on washboard terrain.Heavy-duty metal and rubber construction: The metal support bracket is rigid and doesn't flex under load, and the high-quality rubber clamps grip handles without gouging or scratching finishes. The combination handles both security and tool protection.Load capacity and size compatibility: Sixty-two pounds total across the pair handles multiple tools simultaneously, and the adjustable design fits handle diameters from zero point six-seven to one point five-seven inches. That range covers shovels, axes, rakes, hammers, and hoses without adapter plates.Adjustable rubber tie-downs: The straps hold tools securely without requiring excessive tightening that damages handles or rubber. Tension stays consistent through bumps and rough terrain.Flexible installation options: Mounts on roof racks, truck beds, cargo carriers, or walls using either screws or rubber clamps—you're not locked into one mounting method. That versatility means it works on various vehicles and surfaces.Tool accessibility: Quick release design means you can grab a tool without wrestling with complicated fasteners. The mounting orientation is adjustable so you can run shovels vertically or horizontally depending on your space.Space-saving organization: Keeps tools off your truck bed or garage floor where they roll around and get lost. Vertical or horizontal mounting frees up valuable space in cramped vehicles or garages.Secure your tools and stop watching them slide around in the truck bed. Definitely the mount choice for off-road and work vehicles.

Why didn't I have these earlier?

[Number of Items: 2]
I'll admit it—I don't really know why I thought I needed these when I ordered them. It was one of those "that looks handy" decisions. Well, holy moly, these turned out to be a great addition. The clamps are simple but surprisingly useful. They hold a shovel or other long-handled tool securely and keep it from bouncing around, sliding all over the place, or taking up space where it doesn't belong. The rubber clamping surface also gives the tool a good grip without just having bare metal digging into the handle. What I really like is that they're not limited to one specific use. I can see mounting these on a truck, ATV, UTV, off-road setup, or even using them on the garage wall to organize long-handled tools. Anything with the right diameter handle is pretty much fair game. They feel solid, the concept is simple, and once I started looking around, I found several places where I could use them. Funny how that works—I ordered something I wasn't convinced I needed, and now I'm wondering why I didn't have a set already.Overall, what a great little addition. Definitely one of my better "I have no idea why I need this, but I'm getting it anyway" Vine decisions. LOL.

Sturdy Shovel Mounts That Hold Tools Securely

[Number of Items: 2]
These shovel mounts are much more solid than I expected and work great for keeping long handled tools secure and out of the way. The metal brackets feel heavy duty, and the rubber coated clamp section grips the handle firmly without scratching it up or letting it rattle around. Once the latch is closed, the tool feels very secure and does not easily shift or work its way loose. I like that the clamps can accommodate different diameter handles, which makes them useful for more than just a shovel. They can also hold things like rakes, axes, digging tools, or other long handled equipment. The mounting design is versatile enough for a truck rack, ATV or UTV setup, garage wall, or other solid surface depending on how you want to use them. The included hardware makes installation straightforward, and having two mounts gives the tool support at both ends instead of letting it bounce around from a single attachment point. The red and black finish also looks good and makes them easy to spot among other equipment. Overall, these are sturdy, well made mounts that provide a simple and secure way to carry or store shovels and other long handled tools.

Well engineered, but verify widths of poles you plan to use these with.Well engineered, but verif...

2 Pcs Shovel Mount for Truck Roof Rack with Holder Wall Mounting Kit | Heavy Duty Metal Rubber Clamp Jeep ATV UTV Offroad Car Shovel Holder Fit 0.67-1.57" Diameter Pole Tools Garage Storage: $13.99Why did I dock a star? Because as others have noted, if the pole diameter of your tool is within spec, but on the larger side, you can't snap the buckle down flat (parallel) to the mounting surface. It just doesn't feel as secure like this. For me, this is evident with one of my shovels where the wood handle tapers from the top, getting wider where it meets the shovel head. The top latches fine, the other end...nope, it basically hangs on the hook. See two of the included photos.Otherwise these are great. How the rubber holds up being outdoors over New England seasons remains to be seen.

Love these- Shovel Mount for TruckLove these- Shovel Mount for Truck

[Number of Items: 2, Number of Items: 2]
I ordered these for my truck to hold my Truck bed cargo grabber. The diameter of the grabber is similar to the small pickaxe I have, and it fits perfect. I love that it holds just enough tension to be secure, but it isn't so tight that you have to risk hurting your fingers or your hand. Also, since the tension is just right, it makes super easy access to it! + now I don't have to listen to the grabber bounding around on the back of my truck. In terms of construction, this is solid metal all around (minus the straps of course), that includes the main body, handle, hinges and clips. The straps are thick rubber, which makes it elastic to easily accommodate different size tools. I tested it right away with a small pickaxe and also with a larger with no issues whatsoever.I also love the color, the red is bright, you can't miss it!, so you'll be able to find your tools quickly + the finish is just beautiful.Price wise - it is competitive - no more nor less that other brands out there, but the quality is superior to other's I saw, which is why I ordered and am loving it.Final thoughts on this one: I love the way it looks and how practical it is. You can hang this from a roof rack or on the side wall of your truck bed very easily. If you're looking for a shovel mount for your truck, this is it!

Good mounts, almost great mountsGood mounts, almost great mounts

[Number of Items: 2, Number of Items: 2]
Overall, I think these tool mounts are a solid value. The paint appears to be thick and durable, the rubber retention straps are substantial and strong, and the overall construction feels well made. They securely hold tools of various sizes, with one notable exception. The only issue I've run into is with the locking lever. For the cam mechanism to fully engage, the lever needs to rotate slightly past the mounting surface. With smaller tools mounted on a flat panel, this isn't a problem—they lock down securely. However, with larger-diameter tools, the lever contacts the mounting surface before it can rotate far enough to fully lock, resulting in a less secure hold.I think these mounts would be excellent on an open rack or grate-style mounting system where the lever has room to travel. On a flat panel like mine, the best solution would be to space the mounts away from the panel with standoffs or spacers. An improved lever design—or including spacer hardware in the package—would eliminate this issue and make the mounts much more versatile.Even with that limitation, I still like these mounts and think they're a good buy. They're sturdy, hold tools securely in most applications, and appear built to last. A small design change or the addition of mounting spacers would easily make these a five-star product instead of the four stars I'm giving them.

Rubber strap clamps anything from a shovel handle down to nothing — no minimum size like others

[Number of Items: 2]
These are excellent, and the reason is the clamping range. The rubber strap pulls over a handle and catches on either of two spaced hooks, and because the strap closes down flat on itself, there's effectively no minimum. It'll hold a thick shovel handle at one end of the range and clamp a piece of paper tight against the red metal backer at the other. Several other shovel mounts I've used have a real minimum diameter, and anything skinnier than that just rattles loose or falls out. This one doesn't have that problem at all, which is what makes it useful for tools it was never specifically designed to hold.Build quality is good. The backer is a thick powder-coated metal plate, the strap is a heavy rubber that stretches without feeling like it's about to tear, and the pivot hardware is solid rather than stamped tin. Nothing about it feels like a throwaway part.Installing them is simple and open-ended. Each plate has mounting holes and the kit includes screws and nuts, so it goes onto whatever you've got — a truck rack, a bed rail, a garage wall, or in my case a cleat I already had in my truck bed. The plate is flat on the back, so it'll sit against any flat surface you can put a bolt through.Versatility is where these earn their keep, and that comes straight out of the clamping range. Shovels and rakes are the obvious use, but I've had no trouble putting them on smaller-diameter handles and odd items that a fixed-size holder would drop. Two mounts spaced apart will carry a long tool securely, and they'd work as well in a trailer, a shop, or a shed as they do in a truck.Durability looks promising given the powder coating and the metal construction, though I'll scope that honestly: I haven't had them long enough to speak to how the rubber strap holds up after a few seasons of sun and weather, and rubber is always the wear item on a mount like this. For value, around $15 for a pair with mounting hardware included is a good buy for something built this solidly, especially since the clamping range means one set covers tools you'd otherwise need two different holders for.

Honest Review

[Number of Items: 2]
This is an exceptionally sturdy, space-saving tool mounting kit designed to securely lock long-handled gear to vehicle roof racks, truck beds, or garage walls. It serves as an easy-to-install utility solution that holds shovels, axes, and recovery gear extremely snug during rough off-road travel or routine storage. For its budget-friendly price point, the combination of heavy-duty metal brackets and high-friction rubber clamps delivers outstanding holding power and durability for trucks, Jeeps, ATVs, and UTVs.Technical and Utility HighlightsHeavy-Duty Metal & Rubber Construction: Built with high-strength metal mounting brackets paired with thick, weather-resistant rubber clamps that absorb vibrations and prevent metal-on-metal rattling.Snug Universal Fit (0.67" to 1.57" Diameter): Specially contoured clamp jaws firmly grip a wide range of tool handles, from slim fiberglass rake handles up to heavy-duty wood or steel shovel shafts.Dynamic Indoor & Outdoor Mounting: Designed with pre-drilled bracket holes that anchor easily to truck bed rails, roof rack baskets, off-road roll cages, or wooden garage studs.Heavy-Duty Quick-Release Retention: Features an adjustable rubber latch mechanism that holds tools firmly under heavy trail vibration while allowing quick, tool-free access when you need your shovel in a hurry.Installation and Field Usage TipsCritical Spacing Check Before Drilling: Before drilling pilot holes in your wall or bolting the brackets onto your roof rack, physically place your shovel against the brackets. Measure the exact distance between the straight, uniform sections of the handle. Double-checking your spacing first ensures both clamps lock down onto flat sections of the pole without interfering with the shovel blade or handle grips.Securing Handles on Bumpy Off-Road Trails: To ensure your shovel stays rock-solid during high-vibration off-road trips, mount the tool so the heavier head end (the shovel blade) rests closer to one of the rubber clamps. Pull the rubber latch strap tightly over the handle until it snaps securely into its locking notch.Versatile Garage Tool Storage: Don't limit these mounts to off-road rigs; they work just as effectively as a wall-mounted storage system inside your shed or garage. Mounting them vertically on wall studs lets you lift heavy lawn tools off the floor, keeping your workspace clean and organized.Final VerdictMade from durable, high-quality materials and remarkably straightforward to set up and use. It successfully eliminates trail rattle and loose garage clutter by locking long-handled tools into a tight, reliable grip. Highly recommended for off-roaders, overland enthusiasts, truck owners, and homeowners looking for a secure tool-mounting solution.Disclaimer: I received this product through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an honest review.
