Cabinet Hinges

I needed to replace a pair of soft close hinges in one of our kitchen cabinets as they had somehow lost their ability to close fully. These hinges fit the current holes and were easy to install. These hinges tension screws did not need to be adjusted at all for our door so everything fit and worked the first time. The hinges seem to be of decent quality, though the screws did slip and strip a bit at final tightening and the metal could be thicker at the hinge. The door closes softly and is quiet when the wood touches. Overall these are decent hinges and should be fine for cabinets that aren't too heavy.

After recently replacing most of my cabinet hinges with the soft close style (and loving them) I had a couple of face frame cabinets that still needed an upgrade. Once we got used to the soft close hinges, it made all of the older style seem obsolete. Luckily for me, these ProGemyllic hinges replaced my originals without having to drill new holes. The quality is apparent as these are smooth and the components fit perfectly. They look and feel like a heavy duty and well-built product. The closer mechanism is super smooth and completely silent. I like that they included some silicone bumpers as well as some repair plates that I haven't used yet. Like most of these type of hinges, they have the standard side-to-side, up-down and in-out adjustment screws to get everything lined up perfectly. I think these hinges are priced right and are a good value. After getting used to soft close hinges, I've been on a mission to replace all of the older style.

I like to review products after actually using them whenever possible, but in this case I’m waiting on a quality hinge-routing jig before I permanently install these. Rather than guessing, here’s my first impression after inspecting everything in the kit.The hinges themselves appear to be very well made. The machining is clean, I didn’t find any sharp burrs or rough edges, and all of the moving parts operate smoothly. The spring action feels consistent, and the soft-close mechanism has a nice amount of resistance.One thing I really appreciate is that these include the mounting plates. Some hinge kits only include the hinges themselves, leaving you to source compatible plates separately. Having everything included makes installation much easier.The hardware and instructions are also included, so you’re not left hunting for screws before getting started.From comparing them to the standard European concealed soft-close hinges I’ve used before, these follow the same profile and dimensions, so I don’t anticipate any surprises during installation.Based on the quality of the machining and the completeness of the kit, I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase a larger pack for a cabinet project.I’ll update this review if my opinion changes after installation, but my initial impression is very positive.

These are a great replacement for old cabinet hinges. As others have noted, be sure that your cabinets don't have a lip between the interior and the door as these are only compatible with frameless cabinets, meaning the open door should line up with the inside wall when open, with nothing inbetween them.Installation was pretty easy. To get 5 stars from me on these cheaper Chinese products, you have to include decent instructions, and these mostly pass, though they don't include instructions on how to use the repair plates if you need to use those. Thankfully I didn't need to.I was worried I was doing to need a hole saw, but these fit right in hole my old regular close hinges were in on the door side. I had to pre drill some additional holes on the interior wall of the cupboard, because the old screw holes were farther back, but that was no big deal.It's a big upgrade if you're new to soft close. It seems insignificant, but not having to worry about the cabinet door slamming just feels nice. There's something satisfying about slamming it home and knowing the hinge is gonna take care of it.These are a good value compared to name brand ones I've seen on the market. The construction seems solid, and all hardware was included. I think it's made of steel. The adjustability helps to dial in the motion for the best fit possible.I'll be picking up more of these for the rest of my cabinets.
